I don't know. It could be fun to have an random option but we
need to see the animations first. What I would like to know is if the
Martial arts animations will have more punches as alternatives?

I THINK this is all tied up to the costume. IF so then all you have to do is make a costume that uses the old foot stomp and one that uses the new foot stomp and just keep a macro that switches your costume every time it can.

Well, since animations come in sets (generally of 2) per power anyway (just that most have a set of 1), it might be possible to have two sets of 1 (old and new) and one set of 2 (old and new together) that alternate. We already have conditional alternating animations due to things like Shields, or in Brawl's case, pretty much every weapon set, so I wouldn't put it out of possibility that we can have the choice of old+new alternating.

If we can make suggestions I would love to have the one handed hurl animation from Shields tossed into the normal SS set.

Its just way too cool NOT to have.

They may have to tweak it for it to look ok.

The position of the arm that's supposed to be holding the shield may not like right when there's no shield.

There will not be an alternate animation for every power, but the potential to add new animations or even plug in existing animations that work for the power is there.

Right now we have an alternate animation for Jab, Punch, Haymaker, Foot Stomp, and Knockout Blow that are intended for players who want to play a more 'heroic' super strength character (compared to the somewhat smashy super strength that we have now). Most of those are completely new animations.

I am extremely grateful for the alternate animations, yet I would really prefer an alternate KO-Blow animation that didn't look goofy (two-fisted uppercut looks wonky to me).

I'd rather enjoy a classic uppercut.

Will all the other Sets powers that use the animations you are replacing in SS get the alternate choices as well, or is this something for further down the road?

ie Footstomp and Stalagmites.

I hope you chose to go with a two fisted ground smash for the new Footstomp.
