Wildchilds WILL be there. garunteed!,,, unless I forget

Quote:Looking over the numbers shed some light into their thinking... if you can call it that. While Aion's sales dropped, it was still making more overall than CoH and with Guildwars 2 coming out to cover Guildwars.. it left CoH in the crosshairs. One of the theories I've seen floated is the loss of sales in CoH, which then links to NCSoft financial records. Well, here's a look at their sales since 2010:
Yes, CoH sales have dropped, but nothing compared to Aion. Any news of them axing Aion? Anybody? Bueller?
I get why now, it was pure business... Do I like it? NO! Will NCSoft ever get any more of my money? OH HELL NO! -
Alright!
Here is the winners of the costume/biography contest. Due to the competition we had to split
the catagories.
The winner of the best costume was :Professor Stormpunk!
The winner of best Biography/ description was: Rightous Brown!
Hope to see them both and all of you at the party tonight! -
On behalf of the Eternals let me say...
LET THE EXTRAVAGANZA BEGIN!.. in about 4 and a half hours.:P -
Quote:Possibly a blood bender was the reason Aang, Toph and sokka are dead. Doing the math, Aang would have been about 63 when he 'passed'. Which given the age of most people inSo coult Tarlokk be the reason why we haven't seen Toph, Sokka, and Aang yet? Bloodbending seems to be the most powerful ability in the Avatar universe. Unless someone comes out with vacuum bending (might be high level air bending technique) or particle physics bending (not likely). I assume that either Katara will make an appearance to deal with Tarlokk, Tarlokk has a change of mind, or Korra learns bloodbending to protect her from Tarlokk.
the 'avatar world' is fairly young.. still... it's just a guess. -
Quote:Certainly seems that way.
Bloodbending used to be virtually unknown... who would even teach Tarrlok how to do it? I really can't see Katara showing anyone else how to do it. Did he figure it out on his own?
Remember, Katara herself was taught bloodbending by one of the last remaining
southern water tribe bender, who wasn't exactly sane herself. I can see tarrlok being a
child of hers or a grandchild. Maybe as an instrument of revenge...... -
Thundercats: It was decent but rather a bit 'plot holey'.
Young Justice: Very nice! I like the 'metagene' reference as a layout for
the future of the series...
Legend of Korra:It was great but it seems that most of 'book one'
has been Korra getting her rear handed to her. I hope it gets better
though. -
Quote:Still possible that Amon is the kid of one of the characters from Avatar. There are numerous stories where the kid of a hero turns out to be a villain. Although, I could see Amon being the son of Azula. If only for the whole evil vibe that they both give.
I'd lay odds that Amon is the water bender from the council. His ability to take bending away could be a combination of chiblocking and water bending... or blood bending...
As for the rest.. I like the way young justice:invasion is going so far but I wonder if Megaan
might be a bit too callous with her mental powers.... -
What gets me is that I am downloading from test with no problem.. it'll take me a few days but it is better than nothing..unless they patch it to fix the new things
-
I've been trying to download the new patch but all it does is say "Retrying connection" . Tried it with both dialup and my wireless. is it because of the download slam or something
more serious? -
Grr .. Mine keeps saying 'retrying connection."

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! WHEEEE! *passes out*

Favorite memories:: Some of these are easy:
My first character on Pinnacle, taking down one of the last Rularuu portals
on my first day, all the time hoping nothing came out of it because I was solo...
Finding out that enemies will follow you if you are Tped while holding aggro.
Finally seeing the good things that others see in me.
My first Virtue character.
Wild Childs entire 1-50 run...
Seeing the shadowshard for the first time.
many many more... -
I think all dial up users have the lag then drop teaming problem. the higher in level you go
the more lag that is generated.. and just forget about teaming with masterminds. I finally
broke down and got wireless.. At least I can team now.. kinda...:/ -
Well there is a possiblitiy that one of them will be used for 'friends and family'
testing of Going Rogue. According to IGN (( http://pc.ign.com/articles/108/1080337p1.html ))
It will start next week. -
According NEwsarama, they said 'staff-use' not staff/polearm. Take it as you will.

Quote:The Ghouls (thank you Devs for using the proper term) do appear to be the Pretorian Vazh (with or without Dr V they're filling that genra niche). I just want to know what the collars and wristlettes are for now. And I want to know how accurate the Descript is, especially the "beating one makes the others angry." It would be very cool to have a foe that, if you engage one others in the area get an aggro range bonus (say an "aggro range boost" that extends 100 feet and triples the aggro range) and come after you. It would make them a particularly challenging foe to fight because you'd have to be very careful about your movements and when and where you engaged them or risk massively overaggroing.
It sounds like they might have Vengence like the Nemesis lts.. which makes them
even more scary as an opponent. -
We're dial up. this is the norm for us. Just download on your downtime, which since you won't be able to play anyway, will be a week. Good things are worth it.
-
Well there is supposed to be a ton of cash.. around 6 billion for broadband expansion in the stimulus package Obama got passed. Also Mobile broadband? Hmm...
-
We're not sure. Hopefully it is just to round up testers for GR and not something more..sinister..
-
Might be up for a month or more. I hope so otherwise... I'm gonna be a VERY upset puppy.
