It wasn't? My sg went ti a secluded area and just smacked each other 750 times, and save a few people trying to give us a hard time by griefing us, we got it in maybe an hour?
for one the cost of transferring to a new server is way too high.
I also would like to log in on double xp weekend and freedom lags for me terribly. and since none of the people i prefer to play with want to go to freedom that is off the table.
And since you obviouosly have no idea about the technical limitations of this problem how about you keep your suggestions about where i decide to play to yourself.
the facts are plain, the changes made to prevent farming the recipees make it almost impossible to get them for even a hardcore pvp'r and completely impossible for the casual pvp's on low pop servers.

Maybe its just my sick sense of humor, but I think it would have been funnier if the devs gave them an uber-powerful nuke with a 300 yard radius in the AE that would kill any player no matter the resistance or defense as a self destruct on one hit and hit while phased.
"Lets do a bubble farm"...thack...BOOM...all dead...farm that.

I feel that the pvp changes are extremely unfair to nonfreedom pvp players. That is unless i can call them on the phone and tell them I am going to rv on pinnacle and they have everyone in the office log in and fill the zones since they arent gonna do that they need to find a better way to fix it. it really isin't asking much. I am not asking for an advantage only fairness

I think the original Idea of shared PVP zones needs to be looked at again ...

My fire/EM blaster has crashes 6/6 times trying to use Wentworth's (ticketed , etc.) Odd that this was my toon selling PvP IOs (dumping them as getting a set is now a pipe dream and can purple a toon easier)

So the same SG filled with rez pills hiding out in the corner smacking each other could get this quick then? I guess we were going the hard core way which was the long way ... thanks for the tip!

Way to go devs, are you really truly trying to drive what little remains of PvP out of the game? Is this the secret, unannounced plan to kill PvP completely and thus not have to fix base raids or CoP?

If you PvP on a low pop server and the drops are that rare than no one will have the PvP IO on the low pop server and there will not be any balance issues. I can see the main reason people farmed them in the arena is to sell them for outrageous prices on the market.

Attacking someone repeatedly could be construded as griefing especially if they announce their intentions in a civil manner in english :P The only thing gained from any pvp attack is a reputation increase and now recently a recipie. Every five minutes? Fine o.0 But since you attack a person over and over, the ONLY thing you get from it is the satisfaction of impeeding their progress.
Unless I'm mistaken, what else do you fet out of it reward wise?
However, we managed to get some civil pvpers to come over and beat on them while we worked on our base

Are you serious? I dont PvP at all and I even understand the words PvP zone. If I go in there I expect be attacked every step I take, its the whole point of the zone. If they want a place to RP killing someone try pocket D or the other 20+ non PvP zones.

no, killing you over and over is not griefing. its pvp. I dont have to get a reward for it. If its red, its dead.
