    I run all my farms at +3x8 with my Elec/Shield/Fire Scrapper simply because I can drop all mobs per group in 1 build up cycle at any level from -1 up to +3 so why not go for extra inf. Alternating between Shield Charge and Lightning Rod per mob keeps me dishing out the damage.

    I recently made a Fire/SS/Fire Tank and the same thing almost applys to it. Stacked rage+FE+Burn+Footstomp+Fireball melts away everything. I enjoy farming really tough AE maps worth lots of Xp for my alts and i dont like easy mode.

    If someone is attempting to make a farmer for -1x8 maps they dont need to build a Tank for it. What could possbily be dangerous at -1 to any decent farming build?
  2. I just did the respec and used your exact build. It cost me 1.4 billion in bought IOs, I already had all the LoTG+rech/Miracle+rec/Numina+regen IOs so I saved money there so it wasnt too expensive. Add in the going price for the Glad +def IO and its a very expensive build but having that for free was just plain awesome.

  4. Snagged me a Glad +def IO and worked it into my Elec/Shield build. Anyone see any room for improvement? More Recovery or recharge are always welcome. The melee is higher than the rest due to not having defense debuff resist high when active defense isnt stacked

  5. Im running a heavily IOd SS/WP with about 70% global rech, a passive 50hp regen and around 2500hp. It takes the beating with just an orange or two if the mobs gets veng on bosses or has 3 bosses. I didnt build it for farming so its only AoE is footstomp slotted 5 Armag(proc included) and the KB +rech IO(cant recall name). Since i dont have any other AoEs I cycle a constant footstomp+gloom+Ko Blow+Haymaker+Footstomp. Thanks to high recharge in the build and the +rech IO in footstomp being able to proc on every mob it hits(only procs once but has chance to proc on every target) footstomp is always ready in that chain. This cranks out some serious damage to bosses that usually drops one befor eveng goes off to leave me with just 1 boss missing hitpoints from 2 previous foostomps to deal with.

    I could see having a total lawnmower build that mows thru minions and LTs with lotsa AoEs but since I built without extra aoes I have the time anyways while taking the LTs/Minions down with cycled footstomps. Sometimes the procs in gloom+haymaker+Ko Blow+Footstomp go off and I end up dropping a boss well before teh first LT ever cast veng. If I could drop the smaller guys faster it would make more sense to not have them but I figured since I am waiting for footstomp every 6-7 seconds, dropping a boss or 2 would speed things up xp wise
  6. I have been using my SS/WP Brute to farm the nemesis TV map set for +3 x8 with bosses. I tend to be able to dispatch of the bosses pretty quickly and the xp they give is very high compared to LTs/Minions. I was wondering if the math was done to see if it was a faster xp gain with bosses or without. Usually in a 2 boss spawn, 1 boss dies just before footstomp has killed off the LTs causing Vengeance. Besides and occasional bubbling Fake Nem its just jumping spawn to spawn.

    Does anyone know if the xp/min ratio is faster removing bosses when using a Brute?

    I could def see not having for Doms but do most other Brutes leave bosses too?
  7. I recently got my DM/Therm up to 34 and the only other MM I can compare from experience was a Necro/Poison I took to 50. The damage my DS puts out trumps my Necro by a large margin. Being able to keep the boss pet and 2 LTs perma forged is awesome. I've run mission set to for 3 person +3 lvl mobs and besides the aoe heal aura here and there I dont do much else to keep the pets alive after buffing.

    I wish I could compare Necro/Thermal to my DS/Thermal to see how much the pet difference would be but as far as Demon/Thermal, mine so far is very solid with just SOs and a -KB IO

    Yeah I do tons of off-shore fishing and spear fishing during this time of the year and my birthday was September 2nd so I went to Florida till yesterday. I will be around this weekend so hit me up and I will gladly run some ITFs/LGTFs/etc
