I'm pretty sure that combination of food and free time is gonna kill you dead before the weekend is half over. As for me, just hook up the IV with plenty of caffeine and a few random vitamins and minerals (none of which can be found in Doritos) ...
By happy coincidence , the whole family is gonna be out of town that weekend. Just don't know who I can get to change the IV bags.

does this mean double rewards as well? <inf, prestige, tickets?>
what about tickets caps, does this mean we will cap out twice as fast? or will we be able to make twice the tickets?
Ignoring anyone is a mistake. You might miss something viral to your cause.
Tangible drops do not double: inspirations, salvage, merits, etc. (tickets are part of MA, and likely to be exempt from DXP just like PXP is disabled during DXP).
"Intangibles" do double: experience, influence/infamy, prestige.

Who thought this up? You have people getting XP hand over fist thru AE and your going to add a Double XP week end on top of that? Is this so all the holier-than-thous can catch up?
Its not going to get people "playing" again if thats the intent.
Just seems like a stupid thing to do if you are supposably upset about farming and people leveling too quickly.

This event has been on the calander for some time. Planned even before AE was even released so I don't see the conspiracy of AE and the double xp weekend.

Technically it has been on the calender, they do at least two double XP events a year. 
one in the spring/summer and one in the fall/winter.

But is it a reactivation weekend as well? I sent Niviene a PM a week ago (and I know it was opened because I got a return receipt for it) but no answer so far. Maybe s/he's waiting for a definite answer on his/her end, but it would be nice to find out at some point before Double XP Weekend.

[/ QUOTE ]They didn't release a calendar for any months after April of this year. So nope, it hasn't been on any calendar. The only thing we had to go on was previous precedent of "one in the winter and one in the summer" (ish)...with absolutely no word or hint of future DXP until this thread.

If this includes AE... lowbies will have to pay, and the one's not pl'ing th lowbies will be running 54 boss farms for 40k a kill....
As I said in my other post about the Rikti invasion, I am pretty much taking a break from gaming. From the previous times trying to log in and the hassle of it....no thanks, I can skip that weekend, I would rather take my time than worry about how many different archtypes I can possibly get to level 50 in a weekend.
