Just make sure to save the date because the next City of Heroes® Double XP weekend will begin Friday, July 31st 2009, at 8:59am PST (11:59am EST) and concludes Sunday, August 2nd 2009, 8:59pm PST (11:59pm EST). I was gonna ask about the news archive.....Is it me, or does the news archives show that the 26th June (Friday) was the official release date for issue#15 with the "so go ahead and jump in"? Was it not yesterday, the 29th it was released? AND It has the 29th of June listed as the date for double xp weekend announcement? Not to be picky about it, just glad it is out.... but I know there have been sometimes heated discussions on the forums in the past about release dates and it being quoted from news archives.
Just peeked at it again and it still said that.

Not to be overly critical, but shouldn't this announcement be made in the Announcements forum so more people will see it?

The best part of being an educator is that I get the summer to play COV for as long as I need/want!!!

Will AE have double exp? I kinda hope not to see what results from it.

Escape?...He's got it good. Free food, carried around everywhere, lives warm bath and all he has to do is kick a bit for some attention. He lives in awesome land! If it came with cable TV and video games, no one would ever leave.

Not sure I'll be able to play since I'm travelling States side on that weekend (wee jetlag) but others will surely have a blast

I went to my boss, and said:

- I want a day-off on July...

He looked at the calendar and said:

- The only day i can give you is day 31...

So I had to accept that... I am soooooo sad....

Fortunately, I've got that week off already. I liked it last year when there was a calendar. That sounds a little ungrateful, but it's really not. Just a suggestion.

Also, why did Facebook have the news out first? Shouldn't the forums get news out before networking-type sites?
