Once my game reinstalls I'm dueling you hellora, what dom are you using these days? Just Ri?
Yep, the grav/psi. Let me finish my test build so I can take hiber and a few other things I wouldnt normally have for my zone build and we'll have a go at it.
I have a grav/psi as well, built in i9 for i15 shooouuu don't tell them about the new FoTM.
I took my earth psi farmer in to RV..lol. Rulz.
Mind fire or mind nrg will be the new fotms .
Lift does sick dmg and fire..omg.

RV was way too laggy last night for me to make any real decisions, but the couple fights I had vs doms were kind of absurd. I'd be at like 20% HP before I was even able to take ANY action. That's pretty silly.

really it makes sense when u think about it,
with control now marginalized in pvp,
it was natural for doms to function as blasters in pvp
now whats really going to be interesting will be side switching
, heck the main reason i play red side in pvp, is i hate fighting stalkers
Who didn't see this coming? Doms were pretty balanced before. I was able to take down most things I dueled, blasters being the most troublesome, but with a couple of firing neurons it was still doable. Now, well, it's just lol... If you think a blaster is even on the same league as a dom now, you need a reality check.
I'm just hoping doms don't become the new VEATs, who went from OPed to crap in 1 issue.
Yeah way over powered. i took 340 pts of damage from fossilize plus got held and Total Focused for another 600 and something. Way OP.
I mean i get my kills and im not saying nerf anything yet but at the rate it was going last night it needs looked at. i mean once they figure out the right fotm build and proper slotting it could be I12 pvp all over again as far as chain holds go. It was happening to me last night.

WHAT, No blaster holds unless they have the Devistation Proc. That has been nerfed to 4 seconds along with all the other holds if im not mistaken. Doms can use setbonus to boost that back up, blasters cant because it a proc, i dont think any bonuses from sets for blaster increase hold duration.
So to say its no different then a playing a blaster is obsured.

So that Freeze Ray, or Bitter Freeze Ray, Tesla Cage, and Char aren't holds? GG
...so that means an Ice/EM blaster can PB his three holds...o wait, he needs the proc right? GG

rv was all doms last night lol..and stalkers...toons that hold and high dmg and toons waiting for something to get held.
Oh and lol perma dom - now doms will build like blasters with high dmg % and better acc
My Priorities are going to be +HP +DMG +ACC +RECH hopefully I can manage them in that order...I haven't played with IO'ing since i12 so we'll see.
Something interesting, the base duration change on mez is very obvious IMO, by at least a second or 2. I found I noticed the duration increase on hold put on me by trollers. I'm sure its at least 5 seconds now with acro, though it could have been 6. Here is the huge part. Stuns are INSANITY now. When on my blaster last night, I counted out 7-8 sec stun on me after being worm holed. I cant believe I'm saying this, but I actually may consider taking that power now lol.
accolades and ios make +hp easy - since the ranged attacks are similar + dmg is easy too (and acc). Purples for recharge...GO!
Wormhole has always been in my build simply for the cheap IO's I can slot to get some KB resist and Rech out of it...but yea sounds sexy. Can't wait to finish downloading this damn game so I can start farming and rebuilding.

holds and immobs should base at 4 across the board...yes some stuns..are oped.

I did forget about ice my bad. those are mag 3, 2 second holds if that anymore. im not sure since i dont run ice/em
but my orginal response was to compare doms to blasters other then the NEW sick damage they deal is nonsense.
What's the stun time on flashfire and stalagmites slotted up?
not sure about FF but stalagmites 6 slotted with AA's is 12.5 without DR (not really sure if dr affects it's duration I have not bothered to test it). Having done some dr on matches on test before 15 hit I can tell you a few doms on a team can stun for hella long.
Yes, sorry all, this is a bug. Before the changes, Dom's had a slightly higher then normal PVP damage bonus. This was to compensate for the low damage outside of domination, and the domination damage bonus being perma with heavy set bonus slotting.
Since the changes permanently apply the damage bonus and add a little extra, dom's are now doing much more then intended damage.
The damage will be brought a bit more in line with other AT's. Should look more like this after slotting:
Charged Bolts after changes: 181 damage at lvl 50
Charged Bolts for Blasters: 191 damage at lvl 50
Wanted to give everyone a heads up so no one gets attached to it and keep it from becoming an unpleasant suprise.

I have to say I'm impressed. The changes are quite literally game changing. I did respectable before, but good lord the new damage output, combined with 3 layers of control make it no contest vs blasters now. I can cage, knockup, and hold the target, then phase/hiber myself if I get in trouble. The cage shuts down their aim/bu, so we're pretty much on the same playing field regarding damage and I have the control that they dont. It's like cheating now lol.
