  1. - if you're not going with musculature core, then go with intuition.
    - Dark embrace might be over slotted, but if you're gonna six slot it might as well go with the last glad armor.
    - Life drain can be better slotted.
    - I'd move the slots from alkaloid into health and stamina. You might have end problems if you don't go with something like ageless.
    - i'd take breath over trap and it saves you some doe.
    - SS and SJ might be over slotted to, just go with celerity, leap, and maybe a zephyr and a WG20%.
    - Give one more slot to hurdle.
    - you don't need Paralytic Poison.

    Thats all for now
  2. when velocity came to be, Tribute was already out. Tribute later came back for a show match because everyone said they would loose now. Tribute beat the top team at the time and once again canceled their accounts. (fun fact: Tribute had practiced and trained JaL back in i4 - i6; and JaL went on to beat LD on their original team of noobs). JaL went on to rival velocity and won the 1st place title back. They stayed on top for awhile and then also quit the game. Velocity then broke up and all the good players consolidated into one group but with no more competition, the league fell apart. Tribute still remains undefeated as a team.

    Exemping to SC

purples also keep bonuses which ever lvl
  4. the added hp to stalkers is going to make a bigger difference
  5. getting purple enhancers in every corner of your build, getting all the accolades. and getting pvp iOs. get combat jumping and two slot hurdle then you will be op at lvl 5 on mostly everything that has a range attacks at that lvl. I recommend /dev blasters, /poisons, and /rads.
  6. whats a vanguard and trooper?
  7. how about more PvP zones with better objectives and a scoring system that tells people who's doing a good job. When all said and done, the PvPer gets a reward to chew on. and that's GG.
  8. the confuse, and pets on the dark primary can make it kinda fotm, but only the numbers can tell and im not testing them lol

Clue, you already know the other fotms. and Staff might be, but we'd have to look at the numbers. I heard it has some range on attacks.
  10. probably the dark/em although the poison would be nice on teams.

    Melee in PvP

Obviously melee sets with defense debuffs already benefit from it moreso than sets that dont. I'm sure however that all (sets) would notice the increase in survivability when the ability to to diminish the effects of what is most effective at killing them is just a button push away.

I haven't used this incarnate with my squishies for very long... but I have long enough on my melee toons to suggest anyone playing melee toons in RV not "sleep" on it.
wth are you trying to say? I have read English all my life, but I cannot understand you. So to the op, the only viable melee is sharks/regen. get ageless, musculature, and reactive.

didn't they say KM was using tanker damage modifiers and had to be changed to scrapper levels now? wouldn't that increase damage for the rest of the set? This doesn't make sense.

  14. at least castle would consider the implications for pvp and change it to targeted aoe and nerf the radius

TY for clarifying. This is the type of info we need. i.e If poison's debuffs were auto hit, it needs a nerf; if PB gave the debuffs more -res more -dmg more -regen, etc., either PB or poison needs a nerf. So things seem to be following that formula the devs put down a while ago. If there are builds out there that can counter /poison and win almost all of the time, it's not OP (yet cuz defender version might be). Do psy/ems or dark/colds own them? If there is a set or combination of sets that cannot be beat then we have a problem, but so far poison seems to own certain sets and get beat perhaps by other sets. Is this right?

I think for general zone play, taunt on Scrappers is fairly useless, and I doubt this guy is going to take his KM/Regen into arena matches.
Due to the incarnate system and upcoming incarnate powers, it has turned PvP on its head for me. For example, my i17 legacy build therm corr can only draw vs good PvPers now. It seems like people are doing 25%-30% more dmg than me, and they throw fire at me even though it doesn't say fire ball in their info. In other words, I don't understand PvP now, like i intimately did before. This scrapper will replace my elec/SS tank for all purpose PvP including arena because i feel that with the incarnate system, Tanks received the least synergy with incarnate powers for PvP. And of my near 2000 posts, 98% of them have all been posted on the PvP section. I came from i4 when tribute was around up untill JaL left. So it's not like i have no skill, I just don't have incarnates, nor PvP IOs.

Looking at the math, dark/poison is great along with KM (and i rather make a dark/poison over a dark/cold).... but since i heard poison on corrs and defenders might get a nerf, i went with KM. psi/em is still good but it's easy mode and it's boring when 2 players try to zerg each other down over and over (It's also pretty mindless in 8v8s with vent.) So I wanted either disruption with a bit of burst dmg or debuff with DPS. If you have any other builds that can do that and are decent in 1v1s lemme know; and if anyone can confirm any future nerfs i would like to know because i no longer understand the state of the game.

oh and ty for the info.

  21. Webnades redundantly "stack" in other words, one application is all you need every 10 sec in PvP. However, if you do have a fast recharging webnade and or purples in the power, Webnading 2-4 targets while taunting their dmg dealers can save your side a lot of trouble.
  22. Neeto

    Mind/Fire

that depends on who you fight. nooby builds tend to have around 20-30 KB protection while high end players have 41+. And no matter how you slot levitate it won't break through that. If they don't have enough KB protection, you can levitate followed by 2 fire attacks before they get up, put a hold on, and shoot out 3 more fire balls; putting them at at least half hp while you're relatively unhurt. But, when facing off against a good build, using a KB slotted levitate in your chain, hurts your DPS. So if you can get levitate with out sacrificing much, great. But just use it against builds which don't have enough KB prot. TK + snipe btw, works well vs higher end builds and nooby builds.
  23. i dont think he has that kind of money lol.
