Probably because 3v3 nets 5 teams for matches and a 5v5 only 3 teams.

because justice and prinnalce want to run 3v3 and the reps from server fight on test... if we run 5v5 we could simply get up team ladder again heh

Like I said in my former post. The 3v3 is easier at this point and adds a chance for more competetive teams to dip a toe in.

its true... there arnt enough ppl on live on any one server to net more then what would show up on test anyway... alot of it has to do with how much work is involved with actaully setting teams and toons up on test... on live they really have to have teh IOs which would limit interest even more
I meant that if there was enough people and will to do 5v5 we would have ladder running....i didn't say ladder was only option i said ladder fails because there are no people and no will.
So what is the status of this 3v3 thing?
i asked teh phase (pvpec rep) to help with it..he said he will look into it..no news yet :x

run it yourself. most of the pre i13 test stuff was run pvpers, namely people like Putz and Col. Jasmine. all the devs did was give out titles, and the only pvpec member I ever saw run anything on freedom was Hush.

It seems that if we run this tourney it would be without any pvpec presence .. so that means no prizes or anything. I think frost doesn wanna run it if she cant participate. So if we decide on runnin a proper league .. just for fun .. there would be at least a few teams

Diminishing Returns: On
Travel Suppression: Off
Heal Decay: Off
Inspirations: Tier 1 only
Temp Powers: Only the ones purchasable from the Pocket D shop.
Will need help in deciding restrictions, resets, and other stuff. Start posting your ideas.

So since Justice and Pinnacle run 3v3 Legaue https://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat...part=1&vc=1 i thought it wouldn't be bad if Freedom actually would run one too. I am not that good with organizing such events really (besides i am very busy person) and any help from epxerienced players or actually PVPEC members (does any of them still play on freedom?) would be appreciated. Any takers, thoughts?
