I'd say there's roughly as much chance of that as there is of a Left4Dead movie coming out next week billed as a romantic, slapstick comedy.

No, it hasn't. Again, no issue has ever been released on a Friday. The latest day of the week for an issue release is Thursday (Issues 2 & 6).

Issue 2 was the one that caused a ton of headaches over the weekend following its release, but it was released on a Thursday, not a Friday.

my money says expect rogue in late fall.

i16 is NOT Going Rogue. I thought that had been made clear. Going Rogue is a separate, not-free, expansion. It doesn't have an issue number.

i16 beta in July? Have we learned nothing from past bug fests? I would be perfectly happy to get one update a year relatively bug free, unlike the last three which were not given enough time in beta. I'm still suffering i13 and i14 bugs on a daily basis, and now we have to contend with the breakage to be caused by i15, and you want i16 in beta in less than a month? You're nuts. I do not want to see three issues in a six month span. We need to be seeing different content, not "more of the same-old but fortified with extra bugs". I appreciate that the devs are at least appearing to make the extra effort this time, but it's too soon. If we have to have i15 already, PLEASE do not have i16 on any foreseeable horizon.

It was made clear but I guess no one is smart enough to comprehend the differents in issue and expansion.

There is Issues 1-16 witch are FREE

Then there is expansion City of Villans and Going Rouge witch COST money.... 50 dollars : )

what was issue 6?

Issue 6 was "Along Came A Spider." It was free. It coincided with the release of CoV, which was a paid expansion; but if heroes did not purchase CoV, they could not play a villain, access supergroup bases, have 12 character slots, etc.

Going Rogue will likely be the same system; a paid expansion coinciding with an Issue, though not necessarily Issue 16. Maybe 17 or 18. No one knows.

The "game going down for maintenance" also said more info could be found here ...but t'ain't not here. Oh well, no skin off my nose, play time for me's about up anyhow. I'll find out this evening when I get home from work!

With it going down 2 hours earlier than normal.....and it not saying that it should be 2 hours or less (like it normally does) and it said look to forums for more info.....it could be I15....if not then its just some extra maintenence i'm guessing. Either way ill be glad when its back up again.

So, if what is patching currently /is/ I15, that was less than a week's notice, for some people who have DOZENS of toons to run through free-respecs - I have to say, I hope the free respec will come after today. Because, I'm sorry, but I wait til the last week for my respecs so as to use my current build as long as possible before tweaking to accomodate whatever changes the new issue brings in.

I have so much more I could say in ranting about this, but I won't get redundant. I'll keep it simply as - this was not enough warning for "use it or lose it" because a new free respec is about to be issued.

I-15 could possibly go live today, due to the holiday weekend. If 4th of July wasn't Sat. they'd probably release it Tues.

After the 4th please. I want to use my freespec's for my 60 month vet changes

I haven't downloaded anything yet; for me it "verified patch" and started applying. The only thing that could mean is it verified the Issue 15 pre-download and is applying it right now.

There will probably be a patch after it finishes applying the pre-download (since Test has been patched a few times since the pre-download came down), but I'd say this has to be Issue 15 today.

It'll be the first time a new issue has ever gone live on a Monday.

I wish this had been posted as an Announcement and not thrown in the swill of current discussions about Announcements.

I guess it's a bit too late now.

The notice is supposed to be 7 days before the respec is granted. The respec is typically granted separately from the issue going live.

If Issue 15 goes live today, the respec will probably be granted Thursday or Friday.
