Mr E-Man's MoLRSF Thread

I will be forming MoLRSF attempts on various occasions in the future usually starting at 10:30pm eastern/7:30pm pacific.

I will use this thread to post a sign-up for each attempt & also to gather strategies for (hopefully) successful runs.

What is the MoLRSF? It is a badge for completing the Lord Recluse Strike Force with the restrictions of No Deaths & No Temp Powers allowed (which also includes Vet Reward Powers).

The Team: I am not a stickler for having the optimal team. That said, I do believe we need a good mix to be successful. But I will still give it a try even if the team has absolutely no chance at the MoLRSF.

The main idea is to have some fun!

I (currently) only have two characters at level 50 villain side - Mr E-Villain: SS/Inv Brute & Cold Satisfaction: Ice/Dark Corruptor. I also have a low 40s Elec/Elec Brute (Mr E-Lectric) that loves dying, so when he is at a high enough level, I might take him along, just to make things a bit more challenging...

I'm there with Ms Burned Bush, lvl 50 Plant/Psi Dom.

I have only run it a few times, and each time was with Robin, so I'll be bringing her this time.

I'd like to do it on the other two eventually, but Robin is more helpful, Spy has to lvl up, and I'm a bit rusty with MBs because she was my first Villain 50 and I haven't really used her much since. lol

Id like to join that team. I can bring a fire/kin or fire/cold corruptor, whichever it looks like we need more.

For the last mission I think the "easiest" way to do this is 2 mind doms sleeping the heroes as we pull them one at a time. ive seen it done plenty with one mind dom but there are 2 many other variables to be completely safe. If we dont plan on sleeping them then we need someone who really knows how to pull one at a time on the last mission. ive only seen one person successfully pull only 1 or 2 at a time and never been able to do it myself. with a good team (meaning the players more then the builds) we can tear through all but the last mission without a scratch. And if for some reason we cant get good pulls, having 2 brutes on the team and a good healer (thermal/pain) will come in handy if we happen to pull most or all of them at once.

The one time I saw somebody trying to sleep them all, they got killed pretty easily several times when the sleeps stared to wear off and the stacking "missed".

I cannot wait to try this TF PERIOD at some point, but I gotta get a villian past 42 first . Good luck this weekend everyone!

I need to get this badge on my main Major Doom very badly. Seeing how he's a Merc/Poison mastermind I'll understand if you want to wait to give me the pity 8th spot.

Please sgn up Hatake Kasumi (Widow). Hopefully Statesman doesn't take a liking to me as he usually does.... "Oh, hey Kasumi! Long time no see!" ::Zeus’ Lightning Bolt::

As for tactics, you should also consider a globe-pull. Takes Manticore (and usually Synapse and Babs) out of the fight, plus you can immob/-fly others back to the ground.

I'll volunteer my level 50 Ice/Rad Corruptor, evil drogoh, for this. All of the LRSF runs I've done have been with this toon. I also have a level 50 Bots/FF Mastermind, but I've never run LRSF with it, so I don't know how it would be. I also have a level 42 Arachnos Soldier with both a Crab and Bane build that I'd like to start using if I bother getting him to 50.

Well, I added in some additional slots over the traditional eight spots...

We will play it by ear as far as determining the final team on Saturday night based on who signs up &amp; who shows up.

I hope everyone understands the limited nature of this event &amp; does not get upset if he/she does not make the final team.

I will continue to run MoLRSF attempts on a somewhat regular basis until we get comfortable &amp; have a plan that will work for a good majority of people &amp; not just a few specific ATs/Power Sets.

This is going to be an ongoing process - I hope everyone will bear with me for a bit!

I'd like to bring my 50 night widow, Cryptid. I have a couple corrs I can bring instead if buffs are needed, but Cryp is definately my preference.

lol - I respec'd my SS/Inv Brute yesterday (while at work)...I am working on getting some additional IO sets for him, just in case we need him...

I chose the GW patron pool to gain access to darkest night for the AoE to-hit &amp; recharge debuffs - thought it would help with survivability...

Well it looks like a decent team for an attempt at this. if the first 8 all show up (Mr.E on his brute, Rex on either toon really and me on my /cold) we should have a good shot at it. either try pulling one at a time or fighting on the globe. if we fight up on the globe maybe rex (err soviet) should get on his /traps to help with immolbs. ive never ran any rsf like that so im not really sure what it consist of.

btw i guess ill tell you the names of the toons since everyone else is. the kin is burningfulcrum and the cold is arcticsavior

kewl i respeced my brute. lol made empty slots. need to hussle to get it filled in time.
