Thanks. Short version: Thor's got a ruptured disk on his upper back, between C6 and C7. It's impacting his spinal cord, which is causing loss of control on his limbs, requiring surgery. He goes under the knife Wednesday morning.

Sucky part is that this'll run us $7K when it's all over. There goes Turg's wedding fund. Tina and I are earnestly discussing eloping now.

...anyone have $7K lying around?...

As for a wedding fund, all that matters is that you get married with the people closest to you there. It doesn't have to be a fancy event. My husband and I paid for our wedding out of our pocket, and we did pretty much everything ourselves. We decided we had more important things to spend money on than that, so we had about 15 people there, and it was a really sweet day. That's all that matters is the vows, and having those people who are the closest to you there! Trust me! It all happens too fast that day

[/ QUOTE ] LoL. Well the problem is I have too much time on my hands and spend most of my online time in the Player Questions and Tech forums instead of actually playing the game! That's why Phanta is pretty much the only character I've leveled since February! haha

Well, I just read through the changes to Doms for issue 15 and I will reserve comment until after we finish the MoLRSF this Thursday.

Well, even though we didn't get it, it was fun. At least now I can say I've done the LRSF.

I did happen to get 6 badges on this run.

Came close last night gents and the Dom changes didn't affect the Bush too much.

My death was a dumb death. Valk's one-hit strike capacity (super damage blast, with a DoT tick that finishes you immediately) sucks bigtime. ;(

3 deaths total, with just two on the final hero fight. A Master run is most definitely possible with our general team makeup, no need to pad with ATs too far in one direction. Nice run, all, for 99% of the run we barely took damage.

That would be Valk's version of Whirling Sword...of course it does just a bit more damage than the player version...

So, I mentioned this after some people had already logged off, but I would like to get a list of the Heroes that have this type of AoE attack that can in essence one shot squishies with DoT...

Right now on my list is:

Valkyrie
Positron

Maybes:

Mynx
Manticore

I thought it was a very good run - we took a little bit longer than last time, but the amount of lag & LCMSing probably accounted for additional time.

As mentioned, the first death occurred against the Vindicators after we had the majority of them already defeated...

In the last mission, the first pull brought Synapse & Numina - we took out Numina first & then Synapse.

After they went down, we moved over to the other side of the Atlas Statue & set up shop there.

I believe our next pull was Citadel by himself.

After that things got a little more hectic: BaBs, Sister Psyche & Manticore came on the next pull: we took them down in that order - still only the one death.

On the next pull we tried for just Positron, but Statesman tagged along as well. This is where we had our final two deaths.

During the initial part of the battle Posi & States were in different locations: Post on the ledge & States on the ground & I couldn't get them together. States took out a couple of people while we were taking out Positron.

None of the Heroes caused any major problems for us - we had plenty of buffs/debuffs to keep things manageable.

<ul type="square">[*]Stick together, listen to instructions &amp; do not be afraid to offer your opinion on strategy![*] First Mission: Completely clear to all of the doors - including the turrets. Wait for &amp; clear the ambushes (3?) after kidnapping the scientist (you may need to move him to the door to get the ambushes to spawn. Clear the left side to Crimson - Pets on defensive to avoid Hero agro until we are set.[*] Second Mission: In the water to the Khronos Titan. Clear around the nearby mobs &amp; take out the Titan. Clear the mob in front of the door. Stealth &amp; TP to the end area if possible, if not stick together &amp; clear. Clear the two areas before opening up the door. After aggroing the Slinger, try to clear the surrounding mobs before taking him down to make it less hectic for when he spawns his bots.[*] Fourth Mission: After talking to Grillo (Third Mission), move to the base of the Atlas Statue. We may need to clear some nearby mobs first. Pull to the front foot of the statue (furthest from the Heroes). Pull/Kill order: Numina, Sister Psyche, Manticore, BABs subject to pulling circumstances.[*] Fifth Mission: Clear to the Vindicator door, while the rest of the team sets up back down the hall, someone stealthy should open the door. Pull/Kill order: Malaise, Swan, Luminary, Mynx, Valkyrie (x2) subject to pulling circumstances. Clear to the glowie. Set-up &amp; wait for the ambush. Clear to Ms Liberty. The final mission ended with all the Heroes being pulled at once, and we had 2 deaths this time... but we still kicked their behinds! I decided to upgrade my range to about 240ft (from 190), and I have a slight strategy-change I want to try.. so I'm hoping things go a little different next time. Also, I recommend everybody stocking up on some good inspirations for the next run as well.

We decided to do Barracuda now... we'll see how it goes.
