As for tonight's run, I would like to bring a 47 Ninja/Pain MM, but I'd understand if you'd rather only have 50s. In that case I can bring a Rad/Kin Corr (my Brute's far too squishy for LRSF. She manages to die in a few seconds from Arachnos.... I don't want to test her against the FP....) or my Widow (which got the badge last time). Of course, if there are people that weren't on the sucessful run last time, I'll step aside.

Been having lower back pains with increasing frequency and intensity, to the point where Tina strongly supported urgent care. Did that, did the CT scan, got the "durrr awesomesauce" injection for NSAID/pain treatment, and I've been a stoned dog for the last 2 hours.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. But no... no luck tonight. We had a death before we got to the end and I thought it would be a good idea to try and sleep them, which I never tried before and never will again. We are logging off now to reset cause every time now we try and pull they all come and conduct a smack down.

With all the debuff/heals/holds that I see the team should have had, I can only conclude that the Brutes were a bit lacking.
Dark Armor is a nice set but has no built in Anti-KB so unless the person had acrobatics or some IO's, they were likely getting swatted around like a fly which can complicate matters.
Energy armor.......no comment, just....none.

So...another attempt and another failure...
After last week's success, now we cannot finish the SF...very disheartening...
So we started out with two abortive attempts that ended in a death during the first mission... *sigh*
We reformed for a third try, with Scruffy leaving for the night & MB joining in to fill his spot. The time was now close to 1:00am Eastern.
During this third attempt, we made it past the Vindicators without any deaths, but while chasing a runner, Turg was taken down, ending our master of... run. We had at least one more death during this mission as we started getting a bit sloppy & tired...but we did finish the mission taking out Ms Liberty without any issues.
...and then there is the last mission...we attempted pulling Numina, but of course we got everyone...we were close to having her down when we wiped...
We regrouped, pulled again...bringing everyone...but this time we were able to take down Numina...before wiping again...
Regroup, pull, wipe a few more times (Turg went to sleep during these attempts)...the rest of the team followed soon after (right around 3:00am Eastern.
It was a rough night once again - sorry about the back-to-back failures.

And Turg, you shouldn't feel bad about any deaths. I think I was right behind you chasing that runner when you died, and in that last mish I know I died when I nodded off during the fight (I remember thinking to hit an attack, then the next thing I knew I opened my eyes and was dead).
As for the last Mish (or any mish actually) I found out (mostly by accident) that even with no temp powers on a TF, the Midnight Visage temp power is still usable. If anything, it could be used to help people get around/stealth a bit easier past the non-AV mobs in that last mish.

The funny thing about this situation is both went bad within one month of each other about 1 year of use. (8800 GTXs) bad luck or bad card? Only EVGA knows for sure...

[/ QUOTE ] If nothing else has changed in that system.. I might be inclinded to blame the motherboard, powersupply, or environmental conditions for causing the cards to keep going bad.
Environmental conditions being.. it's summertime and it's hotter outside, and without proper cooling of the air in the room itself.. you can't expect the computer to run at the correct temperature either. Tis the season for device failure. lol
I always recommend air conditioned rooms, and if that is not possible for whatever reason, get a small fan to blow toward the front of the computer system to at least circulate more air in that direction. Even if you have to pick up a $6 "Personal Cooling Fan" from WalMart or something.. it can be a big help.

I did add an extra fan and a Ultra Chilltec Thermo CPU Cooler to the system but those twin 88s get hot as "bleep:

<ul type="square">[*]Stick together, listen to instructions & do not be afraid to offer your opinion on strategy![*] First Mission: Completely clear to all of the doors - including the turrets. The Scientist location can be ascertained by checking the number of red objective points in each door (3 yes/2 no). Wait for & clear the ambushes (3) after kidnapping the scientist (you may need to move him to the door to get the ambushes to spawn. Clear the left side to Crimson - Pets on passive to avoid Hero agro until we are set.[*] Second Mission: In the water to the Khronos Titan. Clear around the nearby mobs & take out the Titan. Clear the mob in front of the door. Stealth & TP to the end area if possible, if not stick together & clear. Clear the two areas before opening up the door. After aggroing the Slinger, try to clear the surrounding mobs before taking him down to make it less hectic for when he spawns his bots.[*] Fourth Mission: After talking to Grillo (Third Mission), move to the base of the Atlas Statue. We may need to clear some nearby mobs first. Pull to the front foot of the statue (furthest from the Heroes). Pull/Kill order: Numina, Sister Psyche, Manticore, BABs subject to pulling circumstances.[*] Fifth Mission: Clear to the Vindicator door, while the rest of the team sets up back down the hall, someone stealthy should open the door. Pull/Kill order: Malaise, Swan, Luminary, Mynx, Valkyrie (x2) subject to pulling circumstances. Clear to the glowie. Set-up & wait for the ambush (we usually go back to the main hall by the large room). Clear to Ms Liberty. Use the rifle on her & take her down.[*] Sixth Mission: Clear to the right side of the Atlas Statue (to avoid any cross agro). Stay together & keep buffs/debuffs running. From this side, Pull/Kill order: Numina, Synapse. Clear to the left side of the Atlas Statue. From this side, Pull/Kill order: Sister Psyche, Manticore. From here, we can determine which side to pull from next & which hero to pull. Of course this is all subject to pulling circumstances. Apparently if Statesman is mentally undressing Numina, it will result in an All-Pull situation. If this occurs, we will determine a strategy - perhaps logging out to reset the mission & hoping for a better distribution of the heroes.[*]This is still a work in progress
