I would not ignore you. I play many different ways depending on the moo.d at the time. But I did want to throw another view-point at you. While playing regular low-lvl content feels super to you, to many other it's like superman in the 50s .. invulnerable/ indestructable, and fighting average joe the car-jacker. Many times I want to play a game where I'm not in 50s fighting easy predictable pixels. I want to be Supes in the 90s fighting Doomsday. And in this game that would be chars like Lord Recluse. While I respect your choice to slowly limp your way their, as have done so many times and have RP chars doing so now, I still have some guys that I just want to get to the "Super" part of the game.
In the manual to one of the early versions I bought the devs said "The real game doesn't begin until your mid 30s." Interesting that now they want t oslow me down if I choose to skip the what? unreal game? fake game? whatever lol
edit: more accurately I guess the devs didn't say it. It woulda been the press people.. PR.. whoever package the prduct for NCSOFT
It really is remarkable the way you all strugle to defend something you know is against the spirit fo the game.
You stand around saying that farming doesn't affect anyone. Even when presented with proof that it does. You give options for others to work around you while not being willing to make any changes to the way you do things.
Instead of changing the behaviour of farmers to make life easier for those using all of Atlas for other things you insist that they adjust to suit you. It's downright arrogant to assume that one small section of the player base who park themselves in a tiny corner of the servers should have the right to determine what others do.
Yeah yeah, we're doing the same thing. Well the difference is that the way we play is how the game was intended to be played. AE farms are essentially manipulating the game system in a way that the devs do not support, and somehow the rest of us are in the wrong? Sorry no, i'm not accepting that.
You stand around making statements like "Remove your broadcast channel" "Go to Galaxy". Well why should we? Why should we move to accommodate you? What makes you better then the players who are doing the proper missions, playing the game content and trying to level their new characters the right way, so they can learn as they go.

The biggest problem between the two that I've noticed is AE farms are more fun than in game farms. They make my toons feel more super by fighting large groups of mobs, like in the ITF, mission 3, without the lag.

That is a psycological problem, and can be ignored. If you can't look past what's being said in broadcast, use your ignore feature, or put broadcast in it's own tab, that's on you. I seriously doubt anything will be done about broadcast .... ever ....

That's been suggested, and it's not possible. One simple reason, when your inside the AE building, look through the windows. What do you see? It's the zone your in, and if AE were instanced, that would be lost. If they were to just get rid of that, and instance it anyways, people such as myself would simply go to different zones that the AE instance would be linked to and look for team members that way.

i'm not trying to defend anything. just the fact that people play the way that is fun to them not the way some jerk on a game want's them to play. and as said by the dev's they don't have a problem with farming. they have a problem when people are using exploits to gain rewards for little to no risk, i.e. rikti comm officers, which were dealt with already. when will you learn that reporting farms is going to do nothing. and how hard can it be to ignore the farmers so all you see is people looking for regular teams. of course if you are on your higher then lv 5 toon in AP then guess where you don't belong if you wanna play regular content, AP.
what is killing the game is you guys and your self-righteous patroling of what/how everyone else is playing. move on. stop killing the game for yourselves.
