Well I have a funny story which shows how far zone pvp has sunk. I was in Sirens the other day and a controller came up as my bounty. When I tracked him down with my stalker I found him on top of a building attacking a resting brute. These guys were farming damage. In Sirens. Where someone always has you on their map. So of course I kill the controller and the Brute gets wild and calls me every name in the book - so I ask him- could you possibly think of a worse zone to try to farm damage in? So instead of moving to a different zone where they have a chance of hiding, the controller calls in four blaster buddies to guard them while they farm damage. Not kidding here. They lay out caltrops and hover around and kill anyone getting close. Stalkers cant hide either because the brute calls out locations to the blasters. So what do I do? I switch to MY blaster, stand on the caltrops and blow the brute to hell while the others watch helplessly. Good times. The brute went absolutely ballistic which really was just icing on the cake. The nice thing about it was that after the blasters recovered from their stunned silence, some of them switched to vills to get me and actual zone pvp broke out.

I found that story very enjoyable.
we went in to sirens last night - 5 of us and a few pick ups all the flying blasters went down and pushed the heroes to the base. Next thing you know. Droning. So we left. lol.

Or that you know that droning the person is gonna really irk them a whole lot more then simply pwning them. Some people deserve the irk more than others. Plus, who doesn't love people whining endlessly in broadcast about something that is infinitely avoidable? I know I do.
Best is catching an entire huddle with wormhole right smackdab in the middle of multiple drones. The tears, they doth quench.
Srsly, if yer gonna camp, relentlessly, expect that that will be fixed, one way or the other. Back up just a little bit. Or carry oranges if you're gonna be obnoxious about it. If you get in tp range of the drones, and then get droned, you sir, are an idiot. You are an even bigger idiot for whining about it.

No one was whining, happened once - came back we backed off - they came out and all died, happened again. we left.
It was not like there were not 8-10 heroes there to our 6 villz. Funny part was they were the ones whining about how we had multiple storms and thermals...we has A storm and A thermal..lol
it's funny to see the flying blasters fall apart when a vill team who buffs and has snow storm available comes in.
idk, yersetrday we kind of went nasty with team of stalkers, even certain el runno tank died in meaning of 3 sec..sure heroes started to drone...what if you send mutilple fishes on a droner though...<_<
besides i don't really mind droners that much, they are having their fun i guess, if they trashtalk i chew oranges and mock on them in front of hero base...i remember one dude simply stopped to drone me because i "creeped him out" with my "drooone me plz, drone me baby one more time.."
I'd bring a kin but i13 made then lol.

I despise droners. Because I have yet to run into a good player doing it (just to mess with people). I know they exist, but I just don't run into them. In my experience, it's always complete newbies that are truly horrible at the game. And that's annoying.
What annoys me even more is their "excuse" for doing it. It's always "stop camping" or "don't go on our base". But that's a total cop-out. It's 100% clear that these people do it because it's literally the only way they can "kill" someone.
I mean, when there is really good PvP going on by, say, the ship in the water in front of vil base. That's close enough to get droned. Hell, even a little past the ship is close enough. But I'm not talking about camping. I'm talking about like 10 guys from both sides engaging in PvP, having fun....it just happens to be somewhat close to a base.
And there always has to be the noob that sits there and drones. And he tries to validate it with stuff like "don't get so close". Please.
Anyway, sorry for the rant. The point of my post was to say that even though I despise droners, getting droned by wormhole, along with a full team, is definitely hilarious, and actually makes me lol.

Yeah, I would hate to get hit with one of those devastating Defender snipes.....oh, wait, I probably wouldn't even notice...
I remember late one night in rv they moved the vill drone into a hero huddle and wasted them. Then dragged it all the way back to the hero base, that was the funniest thing i ever seen. And as far as droners if they were just protecting the base limits, than they wouldn't need to use boost range, i have been killed as far out as the first hill running away no less. I have never been droned by someone who can beat me in a fight.
The funny thing is, even though you seem like one of the whiners that got the changes made in the first place, you're probably still bad..------Macskull on Crop_of_shaolin
