You're unable to get kills so you have to use developer provided NPCs to get kills for you? Have fun with that...
It sounds like Base raiders who let their base get more kills than the players, its kinda sad really.

lol my favorite "tp-foesque" power was wormhole on my domi in siren's, i wormholed a whole group of heroes off the top of a sky scrapper they took falling damage and landed into my team who was waiting at the bottom for them to drop in at 1 HP. good times.

What needs to be done is add a -range component with in 75 feet of the drones or better yet add a no tp zone component ala pocket D with in a reasonable range of the drones.

First I will say I do drone. Just the way it is. If you have my side outnumbered and literally stand on the drones and I don't feel like getting farmed I will thin out the crowd some. Just who I am. That said my favorite thing to do is reverse tp foe the droners. Spent a good portion of the other day tping some em blaster and bad khaos out from the hero drone to get ripped.

If you are within TP foe range of the base, no matter how far that may be, you are "too close."

Not that i gonna blame droners, but i am probably only slly person on the server who doesn't use heavies (cough broken hold) and don't drone (because it is more fun to kill ppl by myself or at least take someone out before my toon lands in the hospital)

What needs to be done is for people to stop crying and not get so close to the base. A bunch of pissing and moaning by people who could not figure out how to be good at pvp was what got us PVP2.0. We don't need any more "improvements".

Base camping is a myth and hardly keeps you from being able to escape the perimeter of the base as you clearly have multiple ways to exit the base.
Droning is not about balancing the playing field or righting a wrong, its about being a sore loser who wants to get even. Its the guy who trips you from behind as you're about to beat him in the race. Its about payback.
So spare us the "don't get to close to the base," nonsense. You're mad because you're outnumbered and you want to get even. And that's all its about.

And i use the word used Because twixt sold his account a while back. That being said i don't have to like the tactic, i can understand if it's constant camping going on, but some ppl do it just to anger ppl and get a thrill out of ppl's reactions. They won't even pvp they just sit at the drone and wait for hours.
Now the reason i don't get droned is even on a large team, if they wonder anywhere near the base, i don't it's simple as that. Screw drones, it's npc's, other players, turrets, all their so why would i want to do battle at such a disadvantage? But if i'm pissed off that bad i just have to get near, i'll only be there until my oranges or kin buffs wear gg.

However I know several people that this is all they do. They never leave the base.
Yup one persons fun might not be another but.. to sit there and drone and never lleave the base??? sounds pretty lame to me.
Personally i dont team with those people and avoid all contact with them even in pve since im sure they cant be very fun or team oriented players.

Hi I'm a droner. I wasn't picked on in high school or anything. I'm well read, and some what educated. I also excel at PvP in this game.
When I get bored and there is no good PvP or PvE to be had, I go out and drone in whichever zone I'm able to if applicable, and enjoy reading the broadcast PvP.
Also if people camp the base, droning usually pushes them back. And yes while you can spawn outside the base using Sallyports(sp?) but your whole team may or may not spawn there, effectively separating you from eachother.
Sitting in a base seeing somebody nerd rage is probably one of my favorite things to do. To see somebody threaten my life or something so simple as two mouse clicks...well it's immensely satisfying.
I'm probably better at PvE than most casual PvE'ers and am more team oriented than you could imagine, so you can continue to fling your insipid barbs and assumptions I'll continue to drone and broadcast PvP with the mouth breathers of the net.
