Educated or not, HS social reject or not...seems pretty lame to me. I understand everyone finds their own brand of fun, but if you get a satisfying feeling from ppl online devolving into nerd ragers or idly threatening your life...I'm not really sure what that says. Again, standing around droning just seems so wacky to me...like there arent a million other constructive things to do while waiting for the zone #s to even out.

Off topic, theres not too much that I worry about in game or IRL...if theres no bullets flying or vehicles blowing up around me, its a great day. I definitely dont worry about ppl that deliver online threats or rage out. Like any other form of online anonymity, you realize that they are idiots that probably would never even raise their voices in public, let alone toss out death theats (real killers/gangsters don't spend time playing video games all day).
Back on topic, I never understood the charm of TP+droning or for that matter, tapping on a tank to frighten fish. My mind just doesn't grasp the concept of irritating ppl just for the sake of irritating ppl. I know it's cliche...but to each their own.

You should hear the fun things people say when you use powerboost, boost range, aim and TP them from an area they think they are safe. Also lots of fun to do the same to the droners on the other side of the fence. They tend to be not so tough without their drones and heavy protecting them.

Yeah...I don't get TPd+droned b/c i dont stand around at enemy bases. Read it again and u'll see that it was more about not understanding how the tactic can be considered fun for people to stand around doing for 2-6hrs instead of actually playing. To each their own, I just don't get it is all...

Hi I'm a droner. I wasn't picked on in high school or anything. I'm well read, and some what educated. I also excel at PvP in this game.
When I get bored and there is no good PvP or PvE to be had, I go out and drone in whichever zone I'm able to if applicable, and enjoy reading the broadcast PvP.
Also if people camp the base, droning usually pushes them back. And yes while you can spawn outside the base using Sallyports(sp?) but your whole team may or may not spawn there, effectively separating you from eachother.
Sitting in a base seeing somebody nerd rage is probably one of my favorite things to do. To see somebody threaten my life or something so simple as two mouse clicks...well it's immensely satisfying.
I'm probably better at PvE than most casual PvE'ers and am more team oriented than you could imagine, so you can continue to fling your insipid barbs and assumptions I'll continue to drone and broadcast PvP with the mouth breathers of the net.

Not that I have an answer to the problem. Trying to convince a team to break the cycle is like talking to a wall. Nine times out of ten the response is dead silence in team chat because they're too busy rushing back to get droned or killed by campers.

In SC a week or two back, he switched to red and wanted an invitation. I told him I don't invite droners. He said that it was his brother who was doing all the droning, not him. I told him no again and that he needs to supervise what his brother does with his character. Then he got all upset and went back to blue side to resume droning.
I admit that I did enjoy his efforts. He'd crow over broadcast when successful, and his victims would wail and curse at him. It gave me something amusing to read while standing by myself beyond teleport range. 
I agree. Monolith is laughable about how happy he gets when he drones.
My MM and Bane stand outside TP range, cause I know he has it 3-slotted for range, and can't use Powerboost or any of those powers with his Tank so I taunt him from outside his range, watch him take 2 steps for every 15 I do, and then watch him get tped into a group >.>
Anyways, if you see "Why So Green" or "Spider Scout" in SC or RV, say Hi :P
Get Wormhole!! No interrupt or attack penalty. Foes take falling damage, get knocked back and are dizzy. Then you just smack the crap outta them. Fun Fun Fun...
