Cut, that's a [censored] wrap.
So in the OP's case where he is looking to get some drops, how else would he accomplish this if not by farming a high level non-AE mission?
Currently on Virtue:

Yeah, should've known this was a bad idea to even breathe the word 'farm' on the boards.
Point being, farm or not, i'm getting dropped and kicked from the game when entering Portal Corps. Does this continually happen to anyone else?
Hmmm...maybe I should've used that question, as opposed to actually saying 'I'm farming'. I might have gotten a more serious answer then.

Sounds like a completely unrelated instancing issue. Nothing to do with it being a farm or anything. I imagine it's just a one-off server hiccup. If it persists you may wish to contact support.
If you do contact support...I would advise not bringing the word 'farm' into it. As you've probably realised, presenting the facts in neutral terms - tried to enter a mission, it glitched out - would have been better.
Your first post suggests that the problem is specific to farming. Which carries a lot of implications...

My understanding is that if someone on the team was still in AE mode when they joined, the missions have a high chance of being messed up
No one was in AE, we had a filler in a different zone, but everyone else was in PI standing in front of the portal to the mish. (Even the ones who were only filling)

If you had a filler in a different zone, are you sure that person wasn't in AE mode?
Secura's not talking about in the AE building, but rather someone who's still got AE stuff as their active task. Such people can be invited to teams, but may bork stuff up.

He may have been. I don't know honestly. However, like I said there has been more than one occassion of this happening to us, since i14 dropped, in which all players were in the zone, and none of them had AE attached to them. Oddly enough, it was the same mission though, if I remember correctly.

I'd say it is related to someone had AE TF on. We had similar issue when started ITF. Half of team went to different zone and hardcrashed...
This kept happening to my team while we were trying to run the Midnighter's Club arc. We eventually had to give up because it took us almost half an hour to even get into the same instance of the first mission, and when we did, everything spawned at +4 to our highest teammate (we were all set to Heroic). We all bugged it and I haven't experienced anything else like it since, but definitely bug it if it happens again, and also check on global chat channels to see if it's happening to anyone else on the server. When our problem happened, it was happening to 4 or 5 people in my globals as well.
EDIT:
For clarification, I suggest asking people not on your team if they're experiencing the same problem, because if they are, you can reassure customer support that no, it is not your computer that is borked, because the problem is not just on your end. This does not mean they can fix the problem but it will at least make sure it gets reported to the right people (we hope).

In an attempt to be helpful: There have been people who had newspaper missions go bad if they had 'em pre-issue and post. I remember some guy went into a warehouse expecting, like, warriors and got level 41 Cimerrorans.
There might be something like that going on.
Is it possible to get this particular Battle Maiden mission through Ouroboros? If you love your Champions of Whatever, you might be able to get 'em back.

Well, I think the Praetorian missions are all arc stuff, which shouldn't be affected by Issue transitions.
It doesn't sound like he lost the mission through all this weirdness though - it shouldn't have been completed.
Honestly, if I were the OP, I'd just put a crew together and give it another shot on a different day. You say this has happened a few times? Were you trying it a few times in the same day, or over the course of a week or something?
I'm not sayin' you're wrong, just that it pays to be absolutely sure there's a problem with the mission and not some other factor. If the mission keeps borking no matter what, and you're certain nobody on the team is in AE mode, then yeah...that does sound worrying. I doubt it's some SUPER SEKKRIT anti-farming technology, but the mish may well be glitched or corrupted. Whatever.
Trouble is, if there is indeed some problem with the mission itself... personally, when I've had glitched missions, what the GMs always did was autocomplete the mission for me. But that's not what you want, so I dunno.

I was assuming that there was a glitch or corruption in the mission itself, which would probably end up in the loss of the mission, which might result in wanting to go back in Ouro to regain it.
Upon close inspection, it turns out I didn't actually say any of that. Oops.

That sounds fair, yeah. But Ouro isn't really a viable way of regaining a farm mission...since the whole point is to have one map folks can zone into for mad killing at any time they want, and reset for multiple runs.
If the mission's in the middle of a story arc, then the prospective agricultural engineer will have to do all the stuff before to get the mission they want. And even then it won't be great, 'cause agriculture usually isn't conducted solo (*). But Ouro locks people into TF mode. Moreover, I've no idea how one can reset a map while solo in Ouro, short of logging out for a bit, which goes against the whole speed/efficiency idea behind agri-business.
That's why folks running old school farm maps freak out if someone on the team actually starts completing the mission objective, like grabbing crucial glowies or something. Once the mission's gone, getting it back isn't really possible. The only thing you can do then is move on to another cash crop.
* footnote: solo horticulture is stuff like hitting the walls in Impy's Magic Romeland, not map running with a team and fillers. Collective farming is a socialist activity.

Actually, I wouldn't discourage their methods if they're straying from the farming mould. This way it's a bit more exclusive, and perhaps closer to actually playing the game and having fun.
Farming only becomes a real problem when it starts taking over the game. The devs and I seem to have a similar opinion, if you need to be dedicated to do it, it's not worth stopping.
Its just been happening to the whole game lately, the servers are bugged or something. Wait for the fix.
I've noticed some glitches lately at times. I thought it might be because I got a new PC with 64-bit Vista, but maybe it's a server glitch. I got booted once entering the AE building. Everything was fine until I clicked on the door, then I locked up. I also got booted entering my base. At that point, a supergroup member who was in the base got booted out too.
As for the OP, it just sounds like a glitch somewhere they'll have to iron out, not some kind of action against farming.

So chances are it's just a serverside or game issue, nothing wrong with the mission itself? That'd probably be a relief to the OP. Hopefully that's the case.

In very bizzare ways as well. Attempted to start a Posi TF the other day. 3 characters, one quit off, the other stayed but not logged in as my character was going to solo it. I get into the first missions against Epidural ...everything is conning grey and I realize I'm not exemped I'm still level 50 with all my powers intact. Finished the mission (Epi took 2000+ damage from a headsplitter :P) and exited. Once outside the I was no longer on the TF and my nav bar had my normal lvl 50 stuff in it. Now curious we restart again ... more or less the same thing with twists (initially I was exemplared, but after entering the first mission the exemplar went bye bye). Upon exiting again the TF vanishes as if it never occurred. After sending a /bug and examining the team makeup etc the only thing we could see different from the previous runs was the character that was still logged in with me still had an AE mission .. finished but with "return to contact" showing.
Ran an ITF last night and had to restart 3 times. One of our members was loading into a whole seperate instance of the first mission by herself.
So, tonight I had some massive issues in P.I. when a couple friends and I decided to run the old school Battle Maiden farm, for some drops.
We got the mish up, we got the fillers we needed, everything was fine, until we went into the mish. First off, my mentor ended up in a completely different Battle Maiden zone, where I ended up in the zone with the leader. Then, on a desperate attempt to get us all under one zone, I was booted out of the mish before the load bar was even through loading 3 different times. Then, the leader and I were forcably kicked from the game.
Is there something wrong with the old farms now? Because this isn't the first time I've had problems with them.
