Pingu Forum Costume Contest - 1 Billion in prizes!

Okay, so it's time to start the Pingu Anniversary celebrations. For those who haven't seen the full rundown, linkylink. Here are the rules for the forum contest:

1) Screenshots must be submitted in this thread or PMed to me here on the boards by 12pm noon, Pacific time, May 31st, 2009.

Decisions will be made by midnight next Sunday night, so obviously, I need some time to consider them. Send it to me after that, and you're SOL.

2) Prizes are 500 mil, 300 mil, and 200 mil for the top 3 spots. If there is an honorable mention or three, that'll be solely at my discretion.

Yeah, my contest, my decisions. Don't whine if I didn't like your costume. That's the way it goes.

3) Good costumes win.

Just because you found every skull piece in the game, Lord DarkityDeath of DOOM, doesn't mean your costume RAWKS. ScantilyCladGirl, while I am a guy, I am not turned on by your lack of pixelated clothing. SuperRomanArmorGuy, LookImSoFunnyIMadeAChicken, and IMatchedAllTheVanguardPiecesDOOD, yeah, I get it, you can match pieces from the same set together, and I also get that you can make some ridiculous stuff with the costume creator. None of you win my costume contest though. Same goes for you, Wool Verr Reen. Yes, it's funny because it's clever. Gotcha. Lose.

4) If the winner's on Champion, they get all the money. If they're on another server, they lose some to market fees. Way of the world.

This is an open contest, with Championites encouraged. Thus, Championites win a little more money. Pretty self-explanatory.

5) Each global is allowed 5 entries. Winning character has to be on that global, and each entry needs to contain the global and character name. If you don't have these things, your entry will not count. Srsly.

Ya rly. I need to be able to find you afterwards and don't want 192,000 messages of every costume you've ever made for your 5,942 alts over the last 5 years.

6) If I can't see your costume well, it will not get judged well.

Take the screenie at the ICON screen, the character selection screen, standing under Atlas' crotch, I don't really care. If you have a black costume and take the picture in DA with your smoky aura, you lose. Be smart.

7) Photoshop. Don't.

I will remember your name from your entry. You don't need to add anything to your picture. Except maybe a penguin in the upper left corner. I like penguins.

8) Good wins.

I can't stress this enough. I don't care if you're patriotic or St. Patrick's Day themed or have a hook or super-evil-god-bad-guy-turned-hero-because-he-was-bored-with-having-to-play-cards-with-Marie-Antoinette-all-day or whatever else you can imagine. If it all works together, that's what matters. Basic ideas are that matching colors are good. If you have 27 different colors in your costume, you will lose and my retinas will slap you through the intertubes. Don't make me retina slap you.

Okay, I think that about covers it. This is the submission thread, so, you know, submit stuff here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here too. I'll wade through the submissions to find the questions. If you don't have an answer in 24 hours, yell at me. Really.

Oh, last thing, this prize is in INFLUENCE. Want to enter your villain's costume? PUT IT ON A HERO. I made all my money Heroside, live with it. Good luck.

Clarification: "Each global is allowed 5 entries." This really is per global, not per person? So if you had 2 accounts, 10 entries, 3 accounts 15 entries?

Yup. But the characters must be on those different globals, so you can't enter 15 from your first global and just claim they're entries for your other globals.

A couple of these 'might' fall into the category of matching sets, but in some cases I find it necessary to maintain the cohesiveness of the costume. In any case, here are my submissions:

Reigndance the 2 costumes to the right have been discarded and are not entered, the fringes only appear in one shot but are present on full costume
Invincibelle

Heatlash

Dream Woman

Infinette

Global: @Blu Jacket

Does each globel have to have its own forum account or can it be posted under one and them @whatever be listed in the post?

Lol, i love the post, good luck with the contest, everyone see's my costumes everyday so i will stay out of it.

Air Juzams are only available during the duration of this contest. Please visit your local Super Foot Locker to purchase a pair. They are special edition and limited to one pair per hero!

Electrocute

- Unfortunately lost this name, but this is the costume for my "speedster" which I currently do not have a name for.

Wildflower

- Claws Stalker, however I just use the "spikes" and envision "poisonous thorns".


Brainbox / Brainbox

- One of Dinah's Archvillians. Although I can't really play a Psi character in game, she appears in many of my AE stories.

Winterguard / Winterguard

- Canadian Superhero. Nuff said.

Spyware

- My robot mastermind who is also a robot. Concept is that it (she?) can interface with other electronics and reprogram the other machines to serve it (her?).

Dude. You look like a Praetorian Century 21 Realtor. Instead of the Gold Blazer, in the Praetorian universe you get "70's Station Wagon Green" Blazers.
