Sorry, playing off another thread title - this applies to Warshades too.

How many of you Khelds are going rogue if it's allowed for EATs? My lvl 50 PB certainly will, and then will find redemption back to Blueside later

I may consider it with my Warshade - but definitely not with my PB.

(actually, I really liked the play off titles. Especially because it wasn't what I was expecting. )

I've only got two Kheldians, a level 50 WS, and a level 24 WS. I don't see either of them going Rogue. My 50, "a little bunny" is just naturally good, though I could see taking her Neutral. The level 24 one is part of a set, so won't be going anywhere without the five others who share her name.

But really, I can see the appeal of taking one Rogue. I might take a VEAT Rogue though. Just for kicks and giggles.

First off, I think I'd like to know more on what does it mean (for my character AT/build specifically) to "Go Rogue". Even if there are no changes to the character AT/build when it Goes Rogue, I think my Kheldians will firmly stay where they are, or perhaps change sides and then change again because they had to do some undercover work

I know for sure that I have at least one Mastermind (perhaps two even) who would become Heroes once they can Go Rogue.

I believe that a Kheldian Gold Standard should be based on SO's, and for anything above that... there's Platinum!

I seriously doubt they'll give us PPP's. But we'll see.

Yeah, my girlfriend and I have dualing level-pacted PBs (Which rocks, btw), and we'll go evil for sure.

My WS will most likely go "evil" in an attempt to take over the ignorant human masses who refuse to accept the Kheldian people as a viable hero type. Reducing the "squids are gimp" population to slave labor.
A fate better than they deserve.....

If you PL'd to 50 just to get an "epic" thinking you'd be �ber, you're going to be sorely disappointed with the HEATs, because the VEATs were designed so that anyone with one good finger and a braincell can rock the toggles.

I swear to god, though. Void stalkers should not end up in the Rogue Isles for at least a year. Nobody is going to expect Kheldians there.

My latest PB was made specifically in response to the 'Going Rogue' announcement.

I just like the CoV zones better. Couple that with Brutes being my fiacee's favorite AT, and it's a no brainer for me. I've done the Corruptor thing, the Brute thing, etc... Getting to play my favorite AT (Keldians) with hers is a win-win to me.

Yeah this matters. If some of the worst speculations are true (You start over at Level 1) then for me it ain't happenin'. I don't think it'll be that dire or massive change in Char Stats, though.

See, I would actually like starting at Lv1 again, if and only if something about my Kheldian power-sets and other build options will be different than building my Kheldian on the Blue-side.

Kheldians with PPP's for example, or with different behaviors to their forms or Castle-knows-what... you know? Anything to break the norm!

EDIT :: Then again, I may decide to bring my Kheldians to the Rogue Isles for the sole reason of introducing Quants/Voids and Cysts to the Villains occupying the Rogue Isles and consider my actions a Heroic act!

Depends probably on whether there are gong to be new Rogue Epic Archetypes or not. Then we could have REATs battling HEATs while VEATs run wild in Paragon's streets!

My WS was completely built on the idea of the "Fallen from Grace/Redemption" idea from back in issue 6/7. His whole background is built up on that idea that the world is his to control and that he was placed in this "human shell" as a captive.

I look forward to the whole Rouge idea when I see it, but I need more details on it 1st.

My WS will definitely switch to the red side.

In fact that's the only character I currently plan on switching.

I too would like to see how its implemented before I decide. The devil is always in the details. My WS might be a candidate for going Rogue as he's a former low level mafia guy and card shark who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He might like the opportunity to soar his evil oats, but ultimately he would probably switch back to blue side (one of those shady characters with a conscience kinda thing). My PB is solidly hero type though, so he'll be staying put.

You know, I hadn't thought of this... my Kheldians aren't actually Kheldians. My Human Form is actually a hero who found an artifact that he though was magic, but it turned out to be a Shadow Cyst. The Nictus is dead, but the crystal is enchanted to use its energy, so all he has to do is recharge it and he has Warshade powers.

And my Tri Form is just a shape changer, he emulates the Kheldian forms instead of being one himself.

I actually might create an actual Warshade just so I could have him turn Nictus, though.

My PB? Oh hells yeah she'll go villain. Her backstory has her as an elitist anti-human terrorist. Being fused with a filthy sack of meat (read: human) disgusts her, and she's only doing it as "How do you horrid little meat bags say it? Ah, yes, Probation."

So yeah, she's likely gonna break parole and go evil. Maybe learn the true meaning of being a hero and redeem. Or maybe just enjoy being evil.

Whichever seems easier, really.
