I think we need to know what "side switching" really means before we can ponder something like this. If it's a villain going over to the good side specifically in the Praetorean world, I can see them leaving the colors alone. After all, maybe red is the "good" color over there.

power customisation was mentioned in the "survey" for costume creator 2.0 and in the vid a red fireball went blue so Im hoping (praying) that customisation becomes a reality

I understand the discretion, But I'm inclined to conjecture lots about customation, I mean, what do we really have to lose?
Partly this could be because customization isn't actually the top of my list. The one thing I'd most like to see a revamp of in the next few issues absolutely won't be there. Power customization is great and all, but I'd love to see a more dynamic animation system, allowing motion and attacks.
I'm about 99.9% sure I'll have to wait for CoH II for that one though.

I don't think the expansion is side-switching.

If you consider those alternate dimension comic series as analogous to side-switching, then yes, it probably is about side-switching.

You will be able to switch sides completely, not just in the Praetorian world. They explicitly said "you can switch sides". They wouldn't make an entire expansion if the only new content was a co-op zone.
Meh, even if it is, hopefully my brutes will be able to take an epic set that has a hold in it.

Yeah, I'm really curious as well about how they'll be handling the epics.
If I can take my Katana/WP scrapper over to the Dark Side and get some Mu Lightning... 
my fire/fire tanker would love some mu electric fences
/gignore @username is the best feature of this game. It's also probably the least used feature.

Power Customization is (possibly) a ways off, or maybe not going to happen anyt ime soon.
Hey, I could be wrong and it could be in the Rogue expansion.
If I had to choose anything for lightning, then it would be Greased Lightning, the best kind.

An expansion is a really good opportunity to make major code changes, so I would think that if they were ever going to add it, it'd be a pretty good opportunity.
It might not make the list, but why wouldn't it? Seems like as good a time as any for it.

Yeah, I think you're right. If it's going to happen in CoH, it'd happen in the paid expansion.
