temperature protection is a good place to have 3 slots. you can put in the whole steadfast set there. you can also grab a karma: kb io and put it in combat jumping thus bringin your kb protection up to 8 points.
You will want to get either:
Karma -KB Protection -> into a defense power like Combat Jumping
Steadfast Protection -KB Protection into a damage resistance power like Fire Shield
or possibly the Travel power one
total kick to the gut
This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
There are two IOs that grant KB protection. THe one you'll want most, probably, is the Steadfast Protection -KB IO. Put it into one of your main shields. OR, if you have Combat Jumping, look for the Karma (IIRC) -KB IO.
Also, if you have a KB attack, you can slot the Kinetic Crash set and get some extra -KB protection there.

To be fair, Ice Slick is a knockdown power so the magnitude of the KB is less than one.
Still, even a single IO will make a large impact on your character's performance.

No, they do not affect pets. The only way to give pets KB protection would be to team with a Kinetics with ID, or drop a breakfree on them (IIRC.)

hi i am posting this in regards to knockback io's. i have a fire / fire tanker and i was wondering. i was hearing a lot about getting acrobatics, but i hear that it might be a power waste and a knock back io could take the place of this? were would i out this 1 knockback io? in which power?
