I'm away from the forums for a few hours to watch Star Trek and look at what I missed!!!!

Just in case it's not to late

There is of course Desmodas and her magic illegal costume.

Anyone of from my Dark Army.

The newly created brute, Ivory.

And someone's favorite, Desatanica

Oooh, definitely a different look for Des. I like it! I'm actually kind of getting an anime-ish vibe from it with the big shoulder thingies and the sleeves. Spiffy update!

I do like the magic pack. Lots of fun stuff in there.

EDIT: Also, it won't be too late until it hits mid-August. Not promising every single character posted will get done of course, but I do want to try a lot of new things over the summer.

Feel free to have a go at Larissa I included a link to a snippet of her story as well as adding in a bit of background info for your convenience. Take any artistic liberties you wish with her costume, if you so choose. She has ice powers and this current costume, the top is supposed to be made of ice.

Here's my entry for this:

My namesake Oathbound, a Forcefield/Psychic Blast/Psychic Mastery Defender.

Personality: As a result of his unnaturally long life he prefers to maintain an emotional distance between himself and others. He's outwardly very reserved and somewhat aloof, sometimes to the point of seeming cold, or apathetic. He has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, and rarely actually laughs at things he finds amusing or humorous, tending only a slight, sly smile.

Costume 1
Costume 2

Oathbound is a case of "He thinks, therefore he is." Though he doesn't know it, ~1500years ago he and his entire village were killed accidentally by an immensely powerful Illusion/Empathy controller, Rafi. Stricken with grief over this, Rafi created an illusion and embedded it with as much of the young man's fleeting consciousness as possible, effectively resurrecting him, though there was significant gaps in Oathy's memory.

Shortly thereafter Rafi set off across the globe, Oathbound in tow, seeking some degree of redemption for the deaths that he caused.

Eventually when Rafi died, he imbued his illusion with the entirety of his psychic energy, prolonging Oathbound's "life" indefinitely. Oathbound still carries on that fight for redemption, not for any sense of duty or guilt, but because it's all that he can really remember ever doing.

As far as his appearance goes, there are a few things that can't be depicted in game. The character has grown a lot since I first came up with him. He's become this kind of an amalgamation of a Judeo-Christian Seraphim and a Hindu diety, who has six arms and six wings.

What the heck, I'm new-ish to this craving for artwork for my characters, so why not give this a shot. Might whet my appetite for a bit until I finish my rainy day savings.

Here's a link to both my character's Virtueverse page, as well as a folder at photobucket with some reference shots and what have you.

Darn time zones! I always stumble onto things like this when they're already full up. But I won't let that stop me from offering up a few, just in case.

First up is my main hero, a kat/invul scrapper named Panda Monium. Prior to the first Rikti invasion they studied our world in order to learn more about thier new enemy. Some were concerned about the presence of so many meta beings within the cites that would be primary targets. One plan to deal with them was to use Earth's own fauna to create a soldier class that could be unleashed across the planet to draw the metas away from the planet's cities, leaving them undefended. The project and it's test subjects were abandoned when the project was deemed as taking too long to achieve results. The Rikti are Panda's most hated enemies and he has been showing them that he is the biggest mistake they have ever made.

Next we have my fire/fire brute, Deacon Doom. and his in game bio.

My main villain, the Bishop of Battle. And bio. He is a rad/thermal corr.

I finally got around to making a character based on my forum name. Once every third generation a member of his family inherits mystical abilities that were awarded to an ancestor in exchange for some heroic deed performed to aid a race that most people don't think ever really existed. He uses the ability to harness mystic energy to augment his fighting and regenerative abilities, as well as a few other tricks he's learning. He simply calls himself, Clobbertime.

If you decide to use any of them then thanks in advance, if not, then please pass the Kleenex.

Darn, a bit late on the boat here. >.> But, anything to potentially help out a Wassy!

Karen Stelvind, evil genius.

Some things can only be said simply at the beginning, snowballing into complexity as time goes along - who would have thought that a former MIT graduate turned local weather girl for WSPDR would skyrocket into the CEO of a new technological research firm that's slowly getting the attention of the world? Fired for a 'crazy' idea of creating a series of mobile weather control units (dubbed 'Weatherbots' by a younger Ms. Stelvind) by her employers, she set out to prove them wrong in any way possible as a salve for her wounded pride.

And somewhere along the way to the top, forgot to come back and stomp flat the station (and their resident reporter, Amanda Vines. You hear that, Amanda?! You will rue the day!) that so sorely hurt her fragile ego. Finding investors across the globe for her insane scheme of controlling the weather, she instead poured the idea into a co-op firm (Sigils & Synapse) to advance all aspects of humanity through the combination of science, technology, magic, and alchemy. Many dirty deeds were committed in the name of advancement, from shattering the vaults of bank doors, to backstabbing Arachnos itself in a number of schemes all designed for the noble, lofty goal of The Greater Good.

Now slowly becoming one of the leading edges in technological research (though not quite the juggernaut of Crey Biotech Industries or Vanguard), Karen's shady deals in the Rogue Isles and rather lax recruitment policies are slowly coming to light as some bigger scheme looms under the surface.. and her crack team of security enforcers and 'researchers' start gaining some notoriety as cut-throat and deadly mercenaries.

It's gonna be a cold, cold day in Cap Au Diable, in the future. As soon as Karen stops playing at CEO and goes back to the source of her determination - showing the world, and WSPDR, just what she's truly capable of.

EDIT: I'll get some new, updated shots of Karen's costumes later - she's got some really fun ones now, but the linked one is still my favorite. And probably always will be.

Just want to repeat again that nothing is full and nobody is late. I just needed a collection to choose from of stuff that looks interesting to me for different things I wanted to mess with over the summer artistically. I'm just too lazy to go looking into other threads and stuff for all the times these have been posted before ^.^

I'm not going to be able to do EVERYTHING posted (or I might just die of exhaustion) and things won't come out in any particular order. But it is a chance for anyone who's posted to snag free art.

The last person who posts has just a good of a chance as the first person... it all depends on how neato I think your character is!

Was more disappointed I didn't respond earlier, honestly.

Usually I pounce at first draw (pun not intended, but recognized as there) for this kind of stuff. >.>

Baron Von Gegenzeit is neither british nor a time traveller, but he's got a large gun and a very expensive suit. Look at that facial hair!

The Hobo King is hobo by day, superhero by night. His amazing array of powers includes: towel tying, molotovs, staying alive on two meals a week, and an intricate knowledge of the sewers!

The Relic is an aged supervillain from a time gone, but he's still got enough in him to show the young'uns a thing or two.

Quiveris is what happens when you give a nice, southern archaelogist girl who just wants to live a dusty, boring life a magical artifact that imbues her with the spirit of a dead civilization. It never gives her body back. Whoops.

I'd be happy to oblige!

First character: Tomatre
The monkeygirl. Tomatre is a normal-looking girl except for her monkey tail. She wears lots of different outfits as long as they're fancy and interesting. She's overly playful and flirtatious and is always looking to have fun. You can learn more on her VV page.

Second character: Victoria Noir
Classy French Widow. Vicky's a short woman with a classy attitude. In public, tends to be overly formal and polite. Doesn't change the fact that she's an effective assassin! Check VV to see more.

Third character: Mitsu
Modern-day Valkyrie. Mitsu has a lot of different appearances and outfits, but this is her standard one. She's a vicious valkyrie who fights for good or evil -- whichever side seems to need a blade at the time. Mitsu also has a sister, so if you do happen to want to draw her, lemme know cause Mitsu would hate to appear without her sis. You can visit the twins on VV.

As I mentioned, I had Invincibelle in the works, and just finished her up. This is an ink and marker piece.

Belle Gets the Bill

I'd rate this pic as PG-13, but you might have a little 'splainin to do if your boss walked by at work. Not a lot... but a tad.

Haha! Love her expression. Priceless!

Thanks. I got this idea yesterday and ran with it. It seemed too good.

And I think this might make me a real forum artist now...

I thought I'd throw in Texas Stampede into the hat. He's a Invul/SS Tank. Got his power from an enchanted bull skeleton.

*temporary thread jack*

I really like that look so I was doodling her . I am sure Wassy won't mind me posting this here, because she is always such a sweet heart on the boards.
I might work on it again later, but I need to go meet the hubby for dinner right now.

This will probably be background practice for me. Don't make fun of my gimpy tree D:

*edit* I will pm the updates to Des if there are any. I don't want to curse Wassy's awesome thread with my thread killing powers.
