I'm totally sweet.... until someone comes along and starts stealing my thunder. Then I break out the sleep-deprived flying squirrels and hot peanut oil!

Just kidding! Unless you're into that sort of thing...

Posted

Hot oil maybe, squirrels I think I will pass on.

Pfft, your thunder is un-stealable.

I wish I was capable of making pretty marker art. I can't be trusted using something that's not erasable though. Not to mention, that your stuff is always so unique and totally Wassy.

Well you are quite welcome to take on Kai if you feel like braving the world of drawing black wings.

Seeing as I'm sure I've caused many an artist pain with those though, feel free to tackle someone else, there's always Roxy Acetylene or Silverdust or a whole schlew of character refs there

Thanks. I got this idea yesterday and ran with it. It seemed too good.

And I think this might make me a real forum artist now...

You always were a forum artist. Now you've joined Belle's non-costume design club.

Maybe her next costume should be made entirely of velcro straps. That way it is easier to patch holes in it.

How about my newest character, Mindtwitch?

Nadine Wissenschaft, of the Ingolstadt Wissenschafts. The youngest of the Wissenschaft line, she is a disgrace to her name.

The Wissenschafts are a well known bavarian family who, during the dark ages, came to be known as wizards and witches. Long serving as the wise men and advisors to kings, they used their remarkable minds to learn about the world around them far in advance of other men.

So well known was the name Wissenschaft it eventually came to be the german word for 'Science', a prestigious honor for a family hailing from the hometown of the Illuminati.

She's the black sheep of her family, having only completed two doctorates in Medical Science and Pharmacology.

She's my spazzy Telekinetic/telepath character. She works for Sin Enterprises (Virtue) as powered security. =-3

I rarely stroll into these threads but I was bored and decided to check it out.

I really liked Belle Gets the Bill, it was a really clever concept with some irony in it. I decided to check out your gallery, you really have a great talent for art. I really like your colored pencil, pencil and marker drawings. They are really good.

I mainly came in here to just look around but I'll give you a few pictures of my main Bad Wonka even though it looks like you're swamped in toons.

Original Costume: 1 2 3 4

Second Costume: 1 2 3

Thanks for all the compliments! And I quite like that Bad Wonka idea..... hmmmmm...

Well i am totally late for the party. But that is OK because i has teh Wassy artz already!

Of course you have yet to actually do a piece for TA ya know!

Btw i love the Belle piece, great concept for her.

I've got links for Ms. Shock in my sig... Virtueverse article, some backstory, and a few in-game pics for your consideration.

I'll include a quick synopsis here...

Ms. Shock is a former British SAS officer. Her powers come strictly from the suit of armor she wears along with years of military training. She is no-nonsense and very methodical in battle, but she turns into a real party animal when she lets loose.

Edited cuz I caint speel...

Baron Von Gegenzeit is neither british nor a time traveller, but he's got a large gun and a very expensive suit. Look at that facial hair!

This description made me lawl and I like the design. I think I'm gonna do up a pencil piece of this guy next.

I do respond well to bribery....

I'll actually start using this thread soon enough. Just so happened that as soon as I got free time, people noticed my free commission slots and kind of filled them up ^.^;;

Posted

Just popped my head in to ask if you were currently working on any new pieces of work, wouldn't mind seeing the final result of anything new. I looked at the Status Tracker but couldn't tell if it was anyone character from here so I could make a guess on how it would end up.

Posted

Ah, everything on my status tracker is a regular commission. Stuff I'm grabbing from this thread is things I'll use to mess around in between, when I have time or want to experiment with something.

I would have been doing more characters from here, but right after I asked, I got a couple more commission requests, and they get my primary attention.

But like I said, I have the whoooooole summer to come here when I want to work on little pieces and sketches. I shan't forget this nice resource you guys got together for me ^.^

My DA now has an alt costume ref sheet for Savannah, and a ref sheet for my Fire/Fire Tanker.

I need to find a better way to make these. They take too long... -_-

[/ QUOTE ]

You could always commission someone to do a modelsheet. But really, I think you have too many screenshots there on one reference sheet. You shouldn't need more than four shots of a character; headshot, front, back, and 3 quarter-turn. Hi-rez shots cropped to 150-300 dpi with dimensions of 4x6 (photo ratios) would be perfect, all preferably without an aura. The aura and lighting can cause misleading colors. Auras and such are better off left to the artist to interpret.
