3/4 the xp of regular mishes in ae?
no

the only thing i know of from MA mishs is the influence does not count towarrd badges. i wish it would and i hope this will change as i never see myself playing anything but MA from now on and want those influence badges.

Defeats by allies you rescue don't count for you, just the percentage of damage you do to the enemies. Basically, they killsteal.
For example, Fusionette in the 'real' world helps you and doesn't decrease your xp/inf/prestige. Virtual Fusionette in MA will take her percentage of the pie.
Correct me if I'm wrong, this is more observation than research.

no, you are correct sir. she is a kill stealer, lets petition her. haha

This is libelous accusations against an innocent fusion hero.

One reason you see less XP in MA missions is that they don't use your Patrol XP. I tested this myself, running a police radio mission full of Council, then running my own published MA mission also full of Council. I was receiving 50% more XP for each defeat on the radio mission, which just so happens to be the amount of bonus XP you get when you have Patrol XP to burn through.

At least not yet, but I would not be surprised at all to see it happen, with all the rampant PL'ing going on.
Nah, they will do the smart thing - either keep it the same, or eliminate xp entirely. They are smart enough to know that there is no point in the middle.

Since there is no end of mission reward (except the bonus tickets), coupled with the aforementioned lack of Patrol XP use, there is less XP earned via AE missions. However, you get to chose how your drops are split between salvage, recipes and enhancements. I would say this is a fair tradeoff.

Really? I don't seem to recall being able to gain 26 levels by running 5 missions before MA...

Thats because you couldnt load an entire map with nothing but comm officers before the AE
Got nothing to do with average exp gain when you're stacking the map. :P

i like the new system and i would really be upset if anything more in the game gets the nerf bat. i don't know what i'd do, maybe look for another on-line game to play since this is the only one i play and since day 1.

Why do you care if they're doing it in an MA mission instead of just resetting some other mission 5 times?

I never stated I had a position on it at all, just that it will not surprise me at all when the devs nerf the XP of MA missions. The ability to gain XP is far in excess of prior PL methods, simply because mission authors can create situations that are ideally matched to their abilities.
There was no way prior to run a mission with all LT's or all Bosses, or any of the other things that are currently being done.
One thing the devs have always been quick to address is XP gain beyond their established standards. Anyone who thinks that they will not do something to address this in MA is being naive.
Quick with datamining to support the changes if any.
The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Pssst....Liberate TV will give a lowbie much more than 5 levels for 1 run.
The difference now is the lowbies don't pay for farms and there is no need for perma 46 bridges. The lowbies can come right on in and help earn their exp. This adds to the speed of the runs as well.

and overall, it is a good thing. they get into fast paced fun without the tedium of the low level grind. I agree there will probably be some adjustments. just not the sweeping hammer that the doomcryers want.(see, that descriptive works for both sides of the argument)
Lots of 50's yada yada. still finding fun things to do.

I've been told that ae mishes give out 3/4 xp compared to a regular mish. (example would be: ae:7.5 xp, normal mish: 10 xp)
is this true?
