Star my arc, and I'll star yours!
Hi everyone. This is my first time posting, I think. It's been a long time. I left the game in year one never thinking I woud return. I did about 5 monts ago and I have to tell you that I haven't had this much fun in a game in years. I jumped head first into the AE mission building, but I have to admit that I've been a little disheartened. My SG consists of a couple of friends and since I mostly duo with my SO, I haven't made a whole lot of really good friends. So, I've had a few run throughs on my arcs, but nothing like the hundreds of run throughs that other arcs have gotten.
Anyway, I would be happy to rate the arcs of others if they would run through mine. At least I know that all the work I put into my arcs won't have been in vain.
The Forest is Burning
Arc ID: 108395
Length: Short
Devouring Earth with 2 custom bosses and an ally in an open map that allows for avoiding everything till you find the ally who heals and blasts. Great for low damage types.
So, if they are so Lost, why do I keep finding them
Arc ID: 9387
Length: Very Short
A lower level mission again for low damage types (I have a lot of defenders and controllers). 2 bosses and an ally.
Finding the Fez of the Purple Monkey
Arc ID: 7627
Length: Very Long
4 mission arc. This arc speaks of my Supergroups namesake. Yes, we are the Fez of the Purple Monkey. I am not quite sure why. My friend has wanted to have a guild named that for 10 years now. I finally accomodated her.
I'll start running arcs as soon as I can. I hope you enjoy mine.
I think this is a great idea and am going to try to play every arc in the thread. Many thanks to Cende for the list as that will make it a lot easier to keep track of.
Anyway, only one arc (2 missions) for me to throw into the mix so far. Both missions are timed (1st one is 30 minutes, 2nd is 45 minutes) and I'd appreciate any input as to whether or not that is enough for either or both.
Arc #155583: Get Your Freakshow On!
Global: @Megashock1
Edit: Changed the Arc # as I stupidly unpublished the arc to make some suggested modifications instead of editing and republishing.
Anyways, tks to all who've given feedback so far.

A heads-up: if you used the burning forest map, several people have reported that it's currently broken and the missions using it will not load. Might want to check that.

[/ QUOTE ] Confirmed. That arc will not start at all. (why don't they put up an error flag or something)
I sent an in-game tell to the "manufacturer" lol

If you're using the burning forest map, check to make sure you arc is still valid.

And for the record.. The creator got back to me. The arc is fixed already and renamed "The CITY is burning" instead.
Yep, the forest map is not loading. Caused me a bit of pain because I loved that map! It was small enough to be doable in a 15 minute run while being large enough to actually have some mobs in it. Well, it's been changed to a burning city map, which is considerably larger. I've added a non necessary collection to add to the badge hunting abilities. Now I don't have to redo all my text (my souviner was a weenie roasting stick - that wouldn't work really well with a standard forest map).
I doubt this applies here much, but if anyone has removed their arcs, could you please PM me, so I can update my list? I'll be posting updates (not the full list, just updates) sometime between now and Sunday.

[/ QUOTE ] And another reminder.. DO NOT UNPUBLISH (to make changes).
You can edit/fix your broken arcs by hitting EDIT on your published arc list, make changes, then click RE-PUBLISH. You wont lose your ArcID and ratings that way.

This sounds like fun. I'm always on the look out for good arcs to play.
If anyone gets a chance, here's my arc:

One of those "down there" is this:
The Time Bandits, Arc ID 39008
I very much recommend this arc. It could use some tweaking, but with a bit of work, I personally feel it could earn a Dev's Choice. It's MUCH better than several Dev's Choice arcs I've already played, as a matter of fact.
Kudos.

just wanted to say you guys are great and this thread is working very well.
I am at 70 votes, 30 more and Ill get my next badge. Thank you all so much. I have a huge list, and have been doing 3-8 each night, if i haven't rated yours already i will soon.
My arc is # 97358 Shift Awesome!
Thanks again!
Well, as long as I get some serious plays and feedback without the drive by killer-1 stars, I'm in! :P
My arc is:
#111352 - Fallen Angel: Crossing Over
Villainous
5 missions, says Very Long, but I have done it in 30-45 minutes solo testing on a 34 dark/dark brute. Got Posi AV/EB at the end... he's in mission 2 as the Signature Pet version, so he's a pushover there with the helper.
Honest feedback too please. If you're not going to play it, don't rate it at all. I want the feedback more than I want the stars/# of rates.
I've got some of these copied to my list and will play through as I have time.
This list is working very well, and thanks for the hard work put into it =)

The compliment is very much felt.
I'm currently struggling with trying to clarify the second mission. Honestly, I wrote the first two missions for City of history buffs.
Edit: I cleaned it up the best I could, at least for now. I really don't want Mender Silos just going into an infodump on the man. I was hoping more folks would appreciate the context.

Thanks for those who have played my first arc, Rise of the Hunter. I have gotten good feedback so far. I am slowly getting to the others on the list and have had fun with the ones I have played. I have written another called Escape From Peregrine Island for any of you Escape from New York fans. Sorry, I don't have the arc# with me. Kind of loosly based on the movie.
I want to mention that yesterday I was in the Arena and got some plays on my arc, per the 'you got 25 tickets from someone playing your arc' in my chat window. Right after that i got 'Unknown command:/tell' in my chat window... so I think someone may have left a comment but I never got it! (because you don't get Tells in arena)
I sent in a Bug report on this and posted in forums today. If it was anyone from here, from yesterday (Sunday 5-10) I don't know that you did it and I won't be able to pay you back
Other than these couple from yesterday, I've played all that play mine, fyi. Maybe, hopefully, it was a random player leaving me a good comment! Thanks.
Well, it's time I post about my story arc as well to get some attention for it and save it from oblivion. Only several SG mates played and rated it right after publishing. It has been untouched and buried deep in the list of MA arcs after that. Untill VioletDiamond stumbled upcn it tonight and rated it, giving me the builder and constructor badge for it. Thanks Violet.
I'll start playing and rating the arcs posted in this thread, about two or three a night. For tonight three arcs have been played and rated, and a there are a lot of them left to do. So it might take a little while before I've reached and played the last arcs.
My own arc has ID 106458, and is called: A demoness' call for help. The arc is three missions long and uses custom mobs. So lower lvl characters might have to be a bit more carefull. The last mission also has an EB in it, but there are some ally helpers available to help fight it, if needed.
Sheline: lvl 50 ma/sr scrapper
Thor's Kitten: lvl 50 ela/mace tanker
Hellfrost: lvl 50 ice/rad corruptor
And many more. What can I say? I'm an alt-o-holic.

Ive done a few arcs from this thread, and some of the stories are really good. I got some good feedback and comments from Mission Arch Monday on Champion and now that Ive made some tweaks to it Ill toss mine out there.. Enjoy. Or at least rate it.
Arc Name: Canine War!
Arc ID: 74097
Published: 3 weeks ago
Length: 4 Missions
Morality: Heroic
Enemy Groups: Canidae Lupus (custom), Canidae Vulpes (custom), Mercenaries (custom), Banished Pantheon, Circle of Thorns, Devouring Earth, Uses Shadowhunter's Group, Snakes, and Requim's stock critters to fill out some groups.
Difficulty: While featuring lots of canines, dont expect too much smash and lethal. Tactics have been upgraded and the wolves get very strong in large packs. Challenge level 1 is a good workout, but damage resiliant heroes and villians can push it quite far. In large groups, higher challenge settings are not recommended as some stacking mez becomes really annoying.
Estimated Time: Anywhere from 15mins to about an hour depending on your abilities.
Description: The wolves have long since held the top spot on the food chain but a recent discovery has planted the seeds of rebellion in thier cousins' mind. Can you help the foxes throw off the oppressive rule or will the wolf always be top dog?
(Author's Note: 99.99% file size. I had to remove about a half dozen customs and some added events to shoe horn all the required elements into the arc. Some of the clues may seem a little light on text, but I had to strip everything down to bare minimums.)

I'll jump in on this...EI needs badges :P
Arc ID is: 92194
Name: The Birth of Punk Rolex
Diff. lvl: Easy-Medium
Length: Short (1 mission)
Side: Heroic
Arc ID: 17438
Name: The Great Debate
Diff. lvl: Medium-Hard
Length: Long-ish (5 missions).
Side: Heroic
My first one that I made "The Great Debate" needs some work overall (now that /ninjitsu doesn't have the extra damage bug I can switch my ninjas in it to /nin instead of /sr)...but you can still play it I like the 2nd one (Birth of Punk Rolex) I did the most...short and sweet (made up all the bios/infos for hostages)
