I have run several searches on this thread and I have not found the sound I am looking for. Bubble shields. There is the sound of someone whistling (not a little shiny silver whistle but a human whistle). Suffice it to say that every time I play with my boyfriend and his devices robotic MM I have to turn the sound off and I can't actually team with anyone with bubbles if he's not there to listen for me (as I have to turn the sound off).

Help...please!!! Make bubbles happy for me.

So, I've been trying to run people's arcs. Its a you rate mine, I'll rate yours kind of thing. Theres a list devoted to it here on the forums. I haven't run anything for a couple of days, so I logged in with my Energy/Ninjitsu Stalker and went at it. Walked into a mission with custom cirtters and died...repeatedly...ridiculously. I spent most of my time on my back since I don't have knockback resistance. If I could not outright kill them with assasin's strike, I was doomed. And forget the custom EBs. 2 shot - dead. I never had a chance. I thought she was a really good build, though she is definately not my favorite. I brought in my Katana/Regen stalker and didn't have much issue, but she is lower level which made most story based arcs at my level. The lower the level, the fewer powers open to them.

Tonight, I got a couple of ratings from some very nice people asking me to run and rate theirs. I tried...I really did. This time it was my Dark/Dark Scrapper. She tears the world apart normaly. I run her solo on unyielding for a challange. I absolutely love her. I came out of the first mission thinking that I really stink. I must stink. The first spawn, 4 orange Lutes (custom critters). Knocked me on my butt and proceeded to sucker punch me dead in about 4 hits. Huh? So, I go out and change my CL from 4 to 2. Came back...5 hits instead of 4. At this point, I had been playing a lot and was out of patrol xp...I was in debt. So, I tried a different one. I sent the first author a note about how good I thought the story was, but that I was unable to finish the mission due to the difficulty in the custom mobs. The next mission, the story was wonderful! I was really impressed at how well it was written and how much effort was put into the custom critters. I got a really good look at them from the dirt nap I took after 2 hits from a Lieutenant with a sword. I have damage resistance, I am well slotted, I have no issue with normal content. I died 4 times in the space of 10 minutes. I again had no ability to complete the mission. I am now figuring that I will need to just ignore all mission arcs with custom critters in it, something I really didn't want to have to do.

I am so looking forward to this. I have a stalker on the Red Side that I think is a fun powerset. I also like my Corruptor. What I dislike are the missions. I'm just not good at being bad. I feel horrible about kidnapping people or blowing them up in some sick experiment. I had a couple of bad side characters because my friends played there, but I really really disliked it. I simply couldn't read the missions. I didn't want to know what I was doing. I thought that AE was my way out of the missions on Redside. But leveling in them in solo missions is painful and finding full teams I've found difficult. I so wanted to have a concept for my Redside toons as being misunderstood or double agents, but it simply doesn't work. I still feel terrible after doing a couple of missions. I absolutely HATE killing police officers.

I have also never played GTA, and could never bring myself to do it. I can not disengage my moral compass like that. I know that most of my friends think I'm silly and hopeless, I just can't seem to do it without having the intense desire to go shower afterward.

We have a small Supergroup named the Fez of the Purple Monkey (a very long story). So far, it's just a little thing with some IRL friends. We've worked very hard and have built up a nice base on the Blue Side and a reasonable base on the Red Side. The problem is there are only 5 of us (but lots and lots and lots of alts). We're looking for a SG coalition. We're happy where we are, it would just be nice to have some more people to mission with and to run the occasional TF/SF. We currently don't have enough members to even start most TF without a PUG.

If you would like a SG/VG coalition, let Tarafirma know on the Blueside by tell/email, or let Insidious Embrace know on the Red Side.

Yep, the forest map is not loading. Caused me a bit of pain because I loved that map! It was small enough to be doable in a 15 minute run while being large enough to actually have some mobs in it. Well, it's been changed to a burning city map, which is considerably larger. I've added a non necessary collection to add to the badge hunting abilities. Now I don't have to redo all my text (my souviner was a weenie roasting stick - that wouldn't work really well with a standard forest map).

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting, I think. It's been a long time. I left the game in year one never thinking I woud return. I did about 5 monts ago and I have to tell you that I haven't had this much fun in a game in years. I jumped head first into the AE mission building, but I have to admit that I've been a little disheartened. My SG consists of a couple of friends and since I mostly duo with my SO, I haven't made a whole lot of really good friends. So, I've had a few run throughs on my arcs, but nothing like the hundreds of run throughs that other arcs have gotten.

Anyway, I would be happy to rate the arcs of others if they would run through mine. At least I know that all the work I put into my arcs won't have been in vain.

Devouring Earth with 2 custom bosses and an ally in an open map that allows for avoiding everything till you find the ally who heals and blasts. Great for low damage types.

So, if they are so Lost, why do I keep finding them

4 mission arc. This arc speaks of my Supergroups namesake. Yes, we are the Fez of the Purple Monkey. I am not quite sure why. My friend has wanted to have a guild named that for 10 years now. I finally accomodated her.
