I wanna thank you from the bottom of my CC-loving heart for doing this! I love villain ATs, usually more than the hero ones. And I've made my share of (IMO) kickin' costumes for some of my many villains. But one thing that has always saddened me is that there are pretty much NO costume contests for the red side. I think I've seen 3 total since I started playing. Oddly, I see people disparage them too. Which is odd, cause I am sure most of those people have blue characters as well as red. Maybe even taken part in their share of them.

I'm not very good at marketeering or other ways of making easy or fast money, so never really had the spare cash to host a contest. But I am delighted that someone else is willing to do it! Who knows, maybe you can start a new trend!

Right now I'm sort of debating doing a CC tomorrow or not. It would be during double experience. Not sure many people would break away from it, especially on the last night. But it would be a large audience. Any thoughts?

Just came in here to post, as I was to be the co-host for Dispari's costume contest today, she's informed me that she will be postponing the event until next week due to the 2x Exp weekend.

Sorry for all the cancellations lately. Just have had too many events to do it each weekend. We'll be back on this Sunday unless there's some other sort of event.

I took 2nd in a CC yesterday afternoon in Cap, at the Uni. Looks like they're spreading.

The steps in front seem to be a good place to gather, as there's plenty of room in the courtyard, and a lowbie can get there fairly easy if they have a jetpack.

I also got some flak for a few of my picks. Still, we had fun, and it was a good refresher since we haven't done much lately due to events. I thought the contests were typically Sunday at around 9 PM ET, so I was hanging out in Cap from around 8:40 to 9:30 and jumping over to the forums to check to see if it had been cancelled. By 9:30 I didn't see anything, so I went off to play, and apparently missed it. I don't know if you had fewer "good" costumes because of this or not (looks like a smaller turn-out than I've seen in the past).

I know this is a lot of work for you, and it often doesn't seem like we appreciate it, but I for one do. It's just disappointing to get all dressed up for it and then not hear anything. I will definitely be there at 11 PM (assuming ET?) next Sunday.
