Ability to combine inspirations into bigger one

How about the ability to take three like inspirations and combine them into one that's a tier higher? When we're inundated with bunches of level 1's, we can combine them to make a few level 2's, etc. This will let us plan and work towards having Tier 3 inspirations for tough battles that we know are coming ahead in an arc/task force.

Too much room for abuse.

Use your med-bot in your SG to buy small greens or small blues for dirt cheap and deck yourself out in Tier 3 insps in no time.

So scale it -- 3 smalls for a medium, 4 mediums for a large -- and add a cost to it; say, 5000 inf per conversion and can only be done at a crafting table.

With the stipulations you put on it, maybe. Without, certainly not, since it is open to abuse and exploit. But yeah, limiting where you can do it and putting a cost on it I think would be fine.

You're failing to realize that tier 3's would become more available to everyone. They would be in less demand, and prices would go down.

Tier 3s are really powerful, and even Tier 2s can really make a big difference. I dont think we want to make them an unlimited easy to obtain resource. Im happy enough with the 3 into 1 different.

Agreed. As gleeful as I am to get tier 3's, they're just too powerful to make so commonplace. It'd massively mess up game balance with very little effort on a player's part.

/signed but only if it took something more than just 3 of each. A crafting cost and maybe even a few pieces of salvage would be nice.

I think Tier 3's usually sell around 10k - 50k on the market so a minimum of 50k per craft might be good.

Uh. I seriously doubt anyone can get through either starting tutorial in only 90 seconds. If you skip the tutorial, you don't get those starting Tier 3 inspirations.

You don't need to get through the whole tutorial to get the inspirations, and a Kheld or someone with the bought pack can whip through the first part pretty quick.

Yes but you can just as easily drop the tutorial mish to make it go faster. Just have someone invite you to the sg while you're in the process of going through the tutorial and you can go through it pretty quick.

Related to this suggestion I would like to see the insp base items redone.

It seems kind of pointless to have to go to all that trouble to get three different base items to create all the insps now that you can get any type you want so easily.

Therefore I would like to see the base items create different tiers rather than different types. Cost it as appropriate.

It is valid point that bases with an inspiration vending machine could abuse it. I hadn't considered that and withdraw my suggestion.

Steeple, not everyone has one of those in their bases. Having to heal 5 million damage is a major chore. My supergroup is only up to 85% of that now. We just have few healers in our group.

Nah, I'd rather make it 3 small insps chosen at random from your pile to have a 50% chance to make one medium random insp and a 50% chance to make nothing, or 3 medium insps chosen at random from your pile to have a 50% chance to make one large random insp and a 50% chance to make nothing.

One thing that I've found myself wishing for on a couple of occasions is the ability to convert an insp into a smaller one of the same type. That way if you've face-planted and are lying there with, say, 2 small yellows and a medium yellow, you can convert your medium yellow to a small, and then convert your 3 small yellows into a wakie.
