Judging from the timestamps in the log, I was about 2-5 seconds too slow (we were in combat!) to pick up the character. Given the time it took me to type the response to my team (about 13 seconds from the "hey guys! I'm here" message) he was snapped up pretty quick.
The funny thing is, it didn't bother me too much. It's not like I was on a stumpy little 3 man team or anything. I just made the one comment about being too slow (Back when you had to open the SG window or type their name out I was much better at sniping people) and just continued on with the mission.
My two Inf. about the "drama"
1. I expect to snarked at for playing a Stalker. I personally can't stand them on most teams. This is why I chose to play one for this Isos, It's the only way Ill get one to 50. (by the way this is the only redside Isos I will be playing a stalker)
2. The Shadows Fall was getting annoying. with 3 stalkers on a 6 man team leaves only three viable escorts for the hostages, that is until the /dark corr decides to leave shadows fall on, thus making the escort/hostage go completely dumb and not follow anyone. I even resorted to turning off hide. (which is suicide for a stalker) to help escort the cluster Eff that was that mission. Until the /dark decided to leave the power on and screw that up. I gave up trying to be useful turned hide back on and continued to kick wailers into next week. I have no idea what point the corr was trying to make with his experiment, but the comment "u r interrupteing him" makes no sense. Interrupteing what exactly.

Seriously, that mission was written back in 2005/2006 it sucked then and it sucks now. The Corr was asked several times to please turn off shadows fall, regardless he was leaving it on, on purpose. For what reasons? I don't know.

What Kong posted is only HIS team's chat logs, not chat logs of hamster's team or of tells between hamster and voodoo. Maybe I am being too sensitive here... but really, what is the point? Just to make other people look bad? I don't get it.
And no, I do not want an answer. I just wanted to hopefully throw a little perspective out there.

7. TW did snatch up DC pretty fast, however they immediately left after that mission, promoted DC and we were left @7

When TW came back , they said "lft" in SG chat and (as you allshould know) fast typer DC picked them up. By then I could have sworn everyone else was @7/8 - if they weren't something should have been said sooner

I can only post what I have. Sorry that I didn't get PMs between Hamster and Voodoo in my chatlog, but that's the way the game works. I also didn't trim it down because I didn't want to be accused of selective editing and add even more drama.
All in all, people seemed a little cranky on Wednesday for some reason and it's all turned into pointless forum drama. Whee.

While I regret that my idle comment may have started this subthread, I do have an overdeveloped sense of fair play. Hamster doesn't really need to defend himself here, because he was the one making the initial accusations. Not to mention the fact that he is all-powerful in Isos and can do what he wants and kick who he wants from the SG. I was on Team Ham this week, and he was loudly complaining about Voo in team chat, as well as the SG chat that everyone saw.
I think my analysis of the situation earlier in the thread was spot on (if I do say so myself), so let's put this to bed.
In closing, I would like to say that in Isos 7 everyone is required to play a Dark/* Defender, and Shadow Fall is a mandatory power pick that must be kept on at all times.

Hmm. I missed all the drama, but to tell you the truth I'd probably have missed it even if I was playing on Wed.
A lot of what's said in chats is lost on me. Either because it's scrolling by so fast, or because I'm concentrating so much on what's happening on the screen that I read 1 line out of 6. I often miss the requests for me to turn off steamy mist. I've also missed people saying they're mezzed. Should I be concerned that I'll piss people off?
As for Voo and Hamster, I always thought this was their routine, like Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton. I never took it seriously. Was I supposed to?

I had to have it! I had to I say! So I charged, and then i realized the group beyond had a little more cash, so afte I roughed up a few I charged them too. I had to make sure that none of them got away. I had to!

We had maybe a total of 17 or 18 whole folks show up last night. Not like I had a lot of opportunities to snipe folks. At least we didn't have any problems with people being forced to wait for a spot on a team or something. I think the only time we may have had a problem, a spt opened up within 4-5 minutes anyway, so eh.

Meh, you stopped being a healer, so you can ignore how badly split the team is. It becomes glaringly obvious to me when I keep trying to heal someone and I can't. So you can hopefully take my word about gaining some gray hairs.
