[Isolators VI] Wednesdays @ 8PM EST
Regen Aura is a toggle for Pain doms, and it's actually pretty impressive: It seems about twice as strong as Integration on a scrapper once slotted up. They also get a PBAoE +RES +DAM toggle that looks pretty good on paper (I don't get it until 35).

Yeah, I think that Regen aura for Pain Dom is better if you're a MM or on a team that is more ranged focused.
However, those last three powers for Pain Dom are a pretty nice combo. +resist and a little damage for World of Pain, resist and defense debuff for Anguishing Cry (PbAOE, but still nice), and Paingbringer is quite the nice buff for a teammate or a pet.

Going to be late due to a family birthday. If I can't slip away early, I won't be able to make it tonight at all.
I'll be late...nephew has a baseball game.

Thanx for the fun tonite. I was the marshmallow of the team, but had a fun time any ways. Landed at LvL 28. Ciao for now and see you all next week!

So next time I'm gonna get some sleep before Isolators so I am not falling asleep at the keyboard. I was still able to contribute, but I was falling asleep.

It's hard being a healer. Even with a couple Pain villains on the team, we still had a few people get defeated. I usually caught people that were getting banged up badly, but there were a few times where the defeat happened before I could even select the person getting attacked (and that's only a matter of a second or two)! Yikes!
I like having the Bruiser, as he can actually take being in melee (for the most part). Too bad the Arsonist seems to have the exact same AI but can't take being in melee range at all (makes me want to never play Ninja with an MM). One thing with the Bruiser, though... he seemed to run off on his own A LOT, which is annoying if I'm trying to do a lot of healing. All my other pets will keep attacking the target I set for them until it's dead, but he sometimes would hit that target once, then run after another one, which is bad if he decided to run off at a nearby mob that we aren't fighting. Is this typical behavior for him, or what?

He is attempting to emulate Des. Unfortunately without defenses, he does his job too well and you must resummon.

Can't say I ever had a problem of the Bruiser switching targets if I tell him to attack; once that target is dead, all bets are off of course. Just be glad handclap is finally (again, for now) doing knockdown for you....it sucked the other way.
I've already forgotten about most of you

I left the night with the image of Hamster saying to me, and I quote, "I want to be your dog". DC can vouch for me.
No explaination was given and I don't think any are needed.

Hit 29...widow is pretty fun, only have 5 attacks so far and it is really hard to choose between which ones to take.
Might respec into a fort build too...been trying one and it seems fun.

This is true. Unfortunately for me last night I got caught up in the moment sometimes a bit too much and with my defenses currently amounting to the equivalent of a wet tissue paper I didn't do so well.
But at least most of my deaths were pretty fantastic. It was doing fine and then, splat!
I picked up grant cover, so maybe the defense debuffs were the problem and this will help. If nothing else I'll help the other melees if they all snuggle up to me like creatures trying to stay out of the cold, grrr.

Hmm... I have two VEATs stalled in the 30s... maybe I'll swap out my Pain Dom for one of them. I am a pretty crappy healer... MP died last night while I was debating the Johnny Quest movie with Voo in VFC.

The council have def debuffs on their machine guns and we fought a lot of them maybe that was it....Once you hit 30's and get everything slotted it may be different.

Yeah...those defense debuffs can suck it. Still not sure why the Family gave us so much trouble.
Team Mental took a beating last night. 2 Brutes, a Dom, an MM, a Stalker, and a Corr, and not enough healz to go around!
I'm actually realizing that Pain Dom is way too heal focused... where's my Recovery Aura? Regen Aura? Fort? I guess there's one big single target buff coming up, but I get the feeling that once everyone's defenses are up I'm going to be hoping for team damage to buff my DPS.
