[/ QUOTE ]You do realize this is a business and we're all paying costumers, right? So, don't say the player base deserves nothing. Infuriating costumers when competition is looming after a 5 year monopoly on a market is never wise in any business venture.

I feel sorry for them been there but the game carried on time to carry on.

You really think they're intentionally infuriating customers? They're trying to get the servers up and working. The vast, vast majority of the players know this...and would rather the devs do this, rather than waste time just saying "Shut the **** up and stop whining! We're working on it!" I was not saying that the fan-base deserves nothing...but rather that Punky and his over-inflated sense of self-worth don't deserve everything he demands just because he happens to pay $15 a month.
Read the EULA. There's no guarantee that the servers will be up 24/7.
Besides...what do you want, 10 cents for the few hours its been down?

They have a person whose job is to communicate with the community. This is their purpose for employment. If that person is helping to get the servers up, something went very wrong.
While I don't think there's much sense complaining about not being updated (mainly because people know when they've dropped the ball) I also don't think there's much point in defending them (because they dropped the ball).
Best guess, for me, would be that they pulled their community relations person to help with 'internal testing' but it takes less than 5 minutes to post an update. What's 5 minutes when we're already looking at over 3 hours?
But then again, there's THIS.
So it's taking longer than they planned. You've never been late because you had problems getting something to work the way you wanted it to? Be patient. Murphy is probably having a field day with the servers and sitting here complaining about it isn't doing any good.
