So far about 2 hours, cap red side and nothing. Looks like it's over then.

CAP - freedom no action in over an hour, did I miss it?

I'll make a few test maps when the game comes back to up to try to figure out what this is.

The custom were all LTs 4 levels above us (54 with auto lk to 50) - getting about 600 exp per, (I was level 30ish).

Rikti minions 1 level above us 46 (auto lk to 45) getting over 12k exp (I was level 30ish)

If it was Rikti comm officers they get LT xp instead of minion XP. This is due to thier ability to spawn a portal and dramatically up the difficulty of the encounter.

I really don't know what planet you people are living on.

On freedom redside the game pre-i14, post lvl 40 was nothing but farming. It was harder to find a team, and there was only one mission everyone was farming.

At lease now we have a variety.

So stop trying to pretend farming is new with i14 and you can save the day by reporting farming missions.

I would love it if we could have an ambush trigger an ambush, like in the "get the loot" missions.

What I do is have kill boss objectives, then have an ambush trigger on those and add max patrols.

So we don't really know?

I've done more tests and I can still make in 5 minutes solo what I make with a full team in one hour. Zero exaggeration.

That's 20x more solo. With no herding what so ever. None. Just one or two LTs at a time.

The test I did yesterday, I used the small mercy map, 220 tickets in 5 minutes fighting 54 lvl LTs (I'm 42 LKd at 50).

With a good full team (with kin a brute and stuff) I made the same amount off tickets in one hour.

I'll run some more tests today, but that's a pretty hardcore difference.

And I'm not exaggerating the numbers, I count the tickets and write down the times.

I'm sure it's a known fact at this point that one can make more tickets solo than in a group,

I have run a few tests and without herding at all, I make in 5 minutes what I make with a will team (that is herding) in one hour.

Because the prices for rare and uncommon salvage is going through the roof, well I need tickets and lots of them, so I need to solo.

So the big question is, is this “working as intended”? Or is this going to be fixed in the future?

if you take away the perma 46s and the lowbie paying, then farming is just a strategy that has a basic team configuration. And is a big part of the "end game" for CoX.

Tank, damage buff, heals, area damage. Every MMO that had kins and area damage tanks would be doing the same damn thing.

Not the most effective map either. I know of one where people in the 40s get 2 levels and more a run that takes about 15 minutes. Damn I love that map.

Im curious, what map would that be? I Know most people use the unique city map (the old family PL map) and they generally get at least 1 lvl in the 40 range farming just LT's...but definitely not two whole lvls in 15 minutes

I think it was more to complain that the farming missions are already starting to drown out the real content in the MA. See, people wouldn't have issues with farmers if they weren't disrupting normal gameplay. You can play the game the "wrong" way all you want as long as you're not interfering with anyone else. The problem with farming is that it does interfere, and this is one of those ways.

I like "farming", so I'm doing it wrong? I play a kin and I like to play with a group that knows how to get the best out of fulcrum shift. And that's basically "farming". It's just a play style, I don't use it to make inf or to power level, I just like to see a team being as effective as it can be.

Are you talking about the map with a 30 AV cluster spawn? Or one of the thousands of all boss maps. And by the way (pro farming tip) neither are as effective as an all lieutenant map (for max exp over time).

And for the record 90% of the people playing on my server play using the "farming style" (red side anyways) There are more kins and brutes than you can shake a stick at.

Tank secondary for melee attacks, blaster secondary for more melee attacks. That's what I use for an easy custom. Still hard on relentless solo though.

Why create this thread then? Just to brag that you turn in exploiters?

I don't know how they did it, but i played a map that had a spawn of about 20-30 AVs, good times.
