The pack is cheaper versus "buying another month plus the perk pack" - a month = 15, the perk pack = 10, 15+10=25. Mac pack = a month and perks. The mac pack = 20.

Regarding the mission teleporter:

Has the bug where you cannot set certain missions if everyone isn't in the same zone been fixed yet?

Because if it hasn't, the novelty of power while being teamed goes way down.

Example:

Mission in Brickstown - players spread out through Talos, Founders, and that one new guy who's still wandering around Atlas Park.

Anyways, just my 2cents.

Also, I think the 2 hour timer is more than fair. I mean come on... how often are you running an arc where the missions aren't relatively close to each other? The way I see the Mission TPer - it's there for those times that the missions are really far apart - like a "talk to" from Crey's to Atlas Park (and even then, Oro works perfectly) or for those missions that are impossible to find. And if you're on a task force that has missions all over, chances are others on the team will have either recall friend, vet recall, oro portals and the like - as well as the mission TPer so they can recall you.

When people start arguing the value of an offering, they think they are in a bartering position, when they complain ardently about the deal they tend to think the other party is doing everything short of putting a gun to their head to sell it to them.

NCSoft is not bartering and therefore you are not in a bartering position. They set an item out there and stamped a price. Anyone interested can come by, pick it and pay. Stationing how little value the feature for them is as meaningful as driving through McDonalds only to tell them "if you want me to buy those 1.10 Jr Cheese Burgers, you better add double meet to them" and drive off.

Sure, you are free to do it, but it still makes you look like the vendor first attempted to force the burger into your mouth and charge you for it.

Note I myself have found some of the deals not a bit lame. I don't think the Jet Pack rent pack is worth it, for instance. And I did say just that. But I didn't go saying "if they want me to buy it, they better make it permanent one time purchase!" because I know there is no bartering chance on the matter.

A lot of people bought it right away just because of all the pictures of the male costume pieces. They knew at least that they'd be getting those. If I wanted those items, I'd be buying the pack without waiting for reviews too. Thanks to the reviews, I know that there are additional items that I want, so I'll be buying the pack.

Ok, yeah, that does make sense.

So, math + Shocwave = Lame. This is a theory that has been tested to be true on more than one occasion.

Two heroes are speeding across IP. One is using 3 speed enhancements and the other has an IO set. Which one of them begs for a teleport to their mission door first?

What level are the 3 speed enhancements? What type? SO? DO? TO?

Regardless, the one with 3 enhancements ask for TP first because obviously he is impatient enough that he NEEDS 3 enhancements therefore he also will be the one who's willpower to run will break first.
