I finished my last appraisal of the quarter last Wednesday afternoon and have been on vacation since then. I return back to work the week after New Years.
Hmm...snow...I may have to plan a day trip to the Sierras...
I would be very surprised if it was a snow day here - and totally stoked! It's going to be 31 celcius on Christmas day & 32 on Boxing days - shorts for all....
I work all day everyday these next 3 years =/

Last years Christmas in Columbus was INTENSE!
My car literally was Frozen to the street lol as were the rest on the block hahaha.. Or having to walk in the many many inches to the bus stop and try to figure out how to get to work 27 blocks away :P

Like Karo said, it's bitterly cold here, and completely snowless. If I have to put up with the cold, I should at least get some snow out of it. 
On top of that, we had a power outage last night because of the ice storms (freezing rain and ice coupled with very gusty winds), and the house got very cold very quickly. Thank goodness for the fireplace!

-40 with windchill here yesterday. It's at times like that that everything just kinda shuts down. Yes, I'm aware it's colder some places, and it can get colder here, but -40 is usually the cutoff point for the local schools.

i want a white x-mas too but right now the white stuff on the lawn is a block of ice. just means a game of hockey instead of the other winter stuff.....
it was fun the other night to get my car out of the driveway the tires were sitting in 2 inches of ice.. lots of salt and sand later, i was 30 minutes late opening the store...
