So, is Virtue LFG Alpha now considered deprecated? Lots of folks still seem to use it. MotD needs an update.

What's a good populated channel for badges and TF's that's not full?

Just a FYI, but VirtueUnited is full. I tried to join it today and was unable to do so.

Virtue LFG Alpha seems full, last I checked. Also, considering that the last update was four months ago, is this still accurate or have there been some changes that I'm clueless about?

I have tried getting on the channels recommended as active on the first post but am having no luck. Any other suggestions?? TY

Looks like all the TF or LFG channels are either full or private. I'm not having any luck.

I was wondering, if maybe the lead moderators of some of these full Global Channels could use the Global Channel Timeout Command to clear out inactive users. Maybe set it to "/chan_timeout <channel name> <365>" And just clear out people who haven't logged in in a year? This would probably make enough room for us who have been wanting to join these Global Chat Channel but couldn't do to the limit being reached. Just a thought

I'm a moderator of one of these channels. The channel timeout command has been set (and reset when it failed to work the first time) and has done nothing. The general consensus, supported by talking with a GM, is that the command does nothing, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be on the radar to fix. Currently the Virtue LFG Alpha channel is set for 30 days, has been for two months, and this has resulted in zero people removed. It's a safe bet that the command doesn't actually work and never has.

As an aside, setting it to a year would unproductive, because the monitoring starts when the command is set, according to the GM I spoke with. He also told me that the command didn't working and he couldn't remove people who should have been removed by it. So, welp. I wish it wasn't so, because it's really frustrating having a channel full of inactives. Might be that the channel changes over, but that's nothing more than an idea in my mind at the moment.

Yes VirtueUnited is currently full, we have VU2011 open now for overfill. The auto kick for VirtueUnited is set to 30 day it just fills anytime some leaves. Hopefully one day the devs will raise the channel cap.

I am new to Virtue, over from Freedom. On Freedom I have 2 channels (one has ben a true godsend, very very great players). i want to give Virtue a good run, but am having trouble finding any good teams. Normal PUG TFs are what I have been running. Currently on a 37 Tank that will be my main. The 2 task forces I have managed to land went very well, a 2:45 Synapse on superbowl sunday, and a ITF kill most Monday night. Good groups both of them, more mature than general PUG teams on Freedom, but maybe i got lucky. But I am still having problems getting on-line and quickly finding a team. Last night I was not able to get a single TF, though i looked for 2 hours. Any help.

Dunno what to tell you B_C. The globals and their overflows were abuzz last night and some had multiple S/TFs competing for members. At one point I counted five Kahn/Cudas in one channel alone. It's not clear from your post that you are in the globals listed or their overflows, so if you aren't then get on in there!

Yeah. I have no idea where to find the list of Global Channels. From a cursory read of this thread it appears they are all full.

Do we need to do anything special to join Virtue TFs 2010? I just tried, but it said that it was a private channel. Global name is @PsychicAngel.

Virtue tf 2010 is old channel to get in im guesing pm a mod on virtue tf 2011.
Sometimes when new channel gets full or is outdated ( ie year) the mods decided to open the years channel and privitaze the old channel
