Something Wicked This Way Comes...

By the twitching of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes. One of the witches in Macbeth says this as Macbeth comes over - and he is a pretty wicked so & so by that point. They are brewing up some potions that give him some more prophesies and convince him to kill even more folks.

Media fiends... those witches were sure fiends so that fits.

Putting on goggles for a wild ride... sounds like a stunt airplane ride... or maybe a wild ride on a broom?

Well, perhaps it is something to help us brew mighty visions up. Heck if I know what, though. A demo edit program? An improved demo recorder and playback? Perhaps a FRAPS like recording program?

Or perhaps I just took an ink blot of clues and made it come out to be what I wanted to see?

Oh no... ohnoohnoohno...

This is where the videographers produce a documentary, a la THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, that purports to tell the truth...

NEMESIS CONTROLS THE CABAL!!!! That's why they all use lightning attacks! They're really all automatons! AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!

I'm really sure it's something to do with demo recording, or the way things are scripted. It's gotta be a boost to how ye movie making nerds ( ) make yer movies.

His other clue 'Not everything in the Matrix is controlled by us.' makes me think of what they were talking about player making there own missions. That would also fit with multi-media to.

Yeah, I think it's some kind of tools for video making or some kind of announcement saying we can make cutscenes in our custom missions later on.

Or if not, it's a contest of some kind. Better yet, a contest that will feature the video as a commercial. That'd be aweeesome.

If you're bringing back the Film Festival how about you tell the devs to fix the numerous issues with demo playback such as NPCs not being removed upon death, the loss of aura effects on NPCs, the lack of ragdog and other such things?

I would guess that it is riffing on Macbeth.

Witch #2 is warning the others, "Something Wicked This Way Comes..." - the traitor Macbeth.

Crossover videos? Villains coming to heroside, or heroes to Villains, or something like that? Possibly Hero1 becoming more of a presence?

Anyways, if it's planned with thought, I'm for it.
