Luck! That's the problem with the 3rd (?) one. The first you do everything right. Eat enough, enough sleep .... The second you're a little more harried with not enough sleep, not enough to eat, not enough exercise. By the third, all bets are off. But it's good to hear you're getting your carbs. If you need healthy calories look into Larabar. They are natural and healthy and taste like candy. They even have a chocolate flavor. Yum!

Baby looks awesome, he's just 6 lbs but healthy. It was a real trip listening to the blood flow through the umbilical cord.. sounds like the sound effect from that movie "Contact". I'm going to take it seriously easy from this point on. I'm going to eat tons and take more rest breaks. I need to fatten up.

Thanks Champs.. You guys rock.

Had severe false labor yesterday. But still managed to tidy, run the dishwasher, feed the kids, help bring in building supplies, find the remote because it fell under the couch again and get Storm Shadow Witch to 50... all of this at a moaning snails pace. Still sore, but not as much. Birth should'nt be too far off.

Just ran across this topic (don't hit the server forums much).

Congratulations, and I hope all is well. My wife and I are expecting our first biological child in December...funny story, we had been trying for ten years with no success, adopted a son, and then before the ink was dry on the adoption, bam, pregnancy.

Those ultrasounds are something else. Friday, we had one where I saw the heartbeat, so I know just what you mean. Oh, and it also told us it's a boy, or they think it is...I just nod and smile when they point out 90% of the stuff they point out. "That's his kidneys." "Er, okay."

Again, congratulations, and I hope it all goes well.

Huh? As opposed to a mechanical child? Are you the Clockwork King in disguise?

I had a step-daughter before my biological child (son)... so there is nothing odd about said distinction. Free your mind, Peterbilt.

Sure, sure, but none of that is FUNNY! Maybe he's a mini Steve Austin? Crawling at 200 mph!

Hey, Penelope's biological.

Um, that is...no. No, I'm absolutely not the Clockwork King. Or Lord Nemesis.

Oh SWEET.. I got my Moby Wrap Baby Sling in the mail. I can give birth now.

(Would be nice if kids came with a remote)

I'd be happy with just the on/off switch.

I'd prefer a pause and rewind function to a simple on/off.

This would imply that half of what they were talking about was interesting

Sometimes it's best to just nod your head and smile.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
