NEVER leave four bags of quick drying cement on the porch with gardening tools if you have a 7 year old boy who ALSO likes to spray stuff with a garden hose after breaking open each 40 pound bag of cement.

(After rebagging all of it, and carrying it to a safer location.. I am NOT in labor.. it SUCKS being She-Ra.)

Someone had to be She-Ra. I mean, given a choice between you and I being She-Ra, I would much rather it be you. I just would not look good in a short skirt.

After the fiasco, I got a pedicure. I had "PUSH" painted on my big Toes. I need my sense of humor.

Its a fact of life. Pregnant women love pedicures. One, it makes them feel pretty (at least their feet). Two, its a foot massage that I don't have to give them. Three, its a massaging chair.

Guys should love her getting pedicures. One, they feel pretty (you might get laid). Two, you suggested it/paid for it so your caring and sensitive. Three, she's out of the house for an hour or so and you can play video games or something.

I disagree with the first paragraph. The second paragraph makes me wish I was a male.

Well, its worked for me on my wife's previous two pregnancies. And that fact that she just read it over my shoulder and laughed and agreed with me says that it was mostly correct... in her case.

But remember folks, each pregneant lady is different. Find what works best with the care and feeding of your pregneant lady.

Would it be evil of me to accidently pour coffee on the PS3?

Not really, but wasteful of money, yes.

It just made me slightly annoyed you said it was a fact of life. I hated pedicures before, during, and after my pregnancy. Seeing as I haven't been able to sleep in the past 24 hours, I may just be grumpy so sorry if I seem mean.

Edit: I swear I typed 24 not 48.

My son had an awesome first day at Adventure Camp. I wish I was 9 again. I've never shot a bow and arrow before.

In college I took an archery class. Could hit "black" 70% of the time at 50 feet and could hit for points at 120 feet more often than not.

A couple of GenCon's ago, I did the "Gamer Olympics".
(out of 20 each)
Robin Hood test: 4. Four!!!! Gah! Totally hosed it. Granted they were wieghted arrows with huge pads on the tips, but still... a FOUR! It was like 20 yards away.... and I scored a four! Never got the range/hieght down with the heavy noses.
The other events were 9, 20, 18, 18, and 15.. so I scored overall very high, but that 4.... groan.

It haunts me still.

I did that in College too... Years ago. The arrows were bent and would not fly strieght, but still got the nick of Robin hood.

I have not touched a Bow and Arrow for 22+ years now.

Well, i've lost more weight, and am going for an ultasound and biophysical as the baby has been deemed too small. Hopefully he's fine. I was underweight when I became pregnant, but I'm only 123 lbs now. Had a great Thai dinner lastnight and ate a LOT of Crab Rangoon. I'm trying not to burn anymore calories.. going to take it easy regardless of the consequences from this point on. Wish us luck today!
