My only complaint about the costume sets option (and it is a minor one), is that a fairly obscure costume/pattern combination that I use on one of my favorite heroes is now a set. I've never before seen a hero with my costume, and yesterday I saw three -- one of which had the exact same coloration. I was a little peeved. But then I decided to think of it as SexyJ's homage to ME! He saw ME and thought I'd make a good model. That made it better.

I won't say which one -- I can just imagine the replies of "Oh I've been using that set for years!"

Obsidius, it sure could be worse but not by much. Why not fix the issue instead? I think most of the players were begging for the VEATS to be more customizeable. Unfortunately, we just received a collective kick in the junk!

Anyway, I hope i13 provides a FEW options for the VEATS. I really dislike looking just like an NPC and all other VEATS. Also, for anyone going with the SoA argument, give your head a shake. We should be unique! Besides, try running by some Arachnos soldiers and see if they give you the SoA secret handshake or blow your toon away....go on...try it

Folks any bugs you are encountering please make sure you take the time to post them in Sexy Jay's Costume Bug List

That way he sees them for sure.

Oh and make sure to let him know how ugly he is!

I also found it funny how Jay refused to add pieces to the VEATS costume creator because he didn't want to have another costume creator. Hello!? Isn't that exactly what we have now??? A different editor for VEATS? Ridonkulous

Well, at least changing the look of VEATs wouldn't and doesn't require Power Customization (which would be the only way of changing the look of Kheld Dwarf & Nova forms).

Mind you, I'm not against your proposal. In fact, I heartily agree that more costume options would go a long way towards making the VEAT uniform look better. Why can't I have my helmet off like other notable NPCs?

But this is all in the realm of Jay, and from personal experience, he's a very tough nut to crack once he's made up his mind. Perhaps we can soften him up with some NIB (new in box) action figures

Widows need stilettos.

Widows need butt-capes - this is absolutely critical!

It would be nice is they also had the reflective texture on their tops/pants.

Widow collars can clip with your neck on a female model.

Soldiers need colour options on their capes.

Agreed on the stilettos and butt-capes issue.

My widow's costume is extremely reflective. I think maybe that some colors just show it more than others.

I don't know if its a bug (seems like it would have to be deliberate based on the amount of work required) but please put the thigh-high boots back the way they were. The new skin-tight version kinda misses the point .

Personally I'd like to have both original and current designs as available options. plus another thigh high boot that is actually mid thigh (the current and original ones always seemed a bit low for my tastes. )

The costume pieces are nice and all, but what about Roman foot pieces for monstrous feet and helms for monstrous head so we can also have the feather plumes?

Now that I've had some exposre to the new costume patterns, I have to say I like 'em. Not bad. Thorns is the nicest and the others are solid too. My only issue is with Arctic. Have to be creatice to work that into a non-ice/cold toon .

Really hate the limited options for the VEATS. I have 4 VEATS on the go and will probably leave it at that. I can't stand to see that ridiculous NPC looking, generic toon for 10 levels. ACK!

Despite unlocking the Visionary badge and completing the Shadow Shard story arc "Alone in the Darque" from the contact Efficiency Agent Pitho, I am still unable to unlock the Rularru's Gaze Bow for my Trick Arrow Mastermind. Does anyone know if there still is a bug pertaining to the Villains and their ability to unlock Rularru weaponry or do I have to complete the Technician Naylor Shadow Shard story arc?

i love the fact the sinister design now works right with capes, someone snuck that fix in. which is cool, and the new designs are cool too. sort of wished the Arctic and Thorn Cape designs where on a full cape rather than the "cut out" design, someone had to much fun with the transparent colors

I don't have any real problems with any of the new stuff or how it's been put in (yet :P). I'd just like to reiterate what was covered in the last issue of the Scoop. The older pieces/patterns really need to be updated and some of the sets need to be completed.

Off the top of my head one major problem that I think needs to be fixed is many of the female glove options. I'd like to be able to have a full sleeve with the bracers/padded gloves/wristbands etc. Having that little gap where the upper arm pattern ends and the glove is ridiculous. The option to have skin needs to stay but having a full sleeve should be an option also.

Another thing is that a few sets are still missing pieces. One example is Tight Sleek boots. I can never bring myself to wear Tight Sleek because there's no matching boot option.

Things like that, and those that were mentioned in the Scoop, are long overdue for some attention. I sincerely hope that they get looked at soon.

The geometry is already done. Wander into Pocket D and look for a Vazilok Raver. She has past-the-elbow gloves. So do most Crey scientists.
