It's been great to read everyone's responses in this thread. This along with "What is your favorite Archtype to play" are questions that are fun to ask once a month a favorite chat channel.
Somewhat surprised at the amount of times Defenders is appearing on the list. When building a team, it is usually good to have at least one Defender, Controller, or Corrupter (Now Mastermind).
This is going to be a decent sized list.
-Brutes and Scrappers: Haven't been able to level any of them past level 25 recently.
-Controllers and Dominators: Order and chaos shall reign supreme! Just kidding. Both are slow to get off the ground. And for some reason I cannot get into the Controlling powers. Massive soft controlling powers are not effective enough for me, and I tend to lean towards building a controller who focuses on the secondary power set for some reason X_X
Both classes are heavy on stamina as well.
-Khelds: To be honest. Haven't tried them (Mainly because haven't had a level 50 hero in quiet some time. Wooohooo now that they are attainable at level 20. If only a character space would free up) -
I've always enjoyed the weakness in character.
For some reason when Diablo II came out, I had to make at least one Melee Mancer or One Melee sorcerer.

Masochism.
Nice post Misaligned. You hit it right on the head. -

Wow. Such harsh replies. I think most of you forget that this is a game.
I am a role-player. The character concept that I came up with is roughly based off the cowardly sniveling villain who serves as a 'yes' man for a antagonist of repute. Ala Toad to his Magneto, or Wildside to his Stryfe.
All I asked was an honest comparison between the Mastermind attack powers. That was all. And I get internet abrasiveness. O_O
By the way Jade Dragon and Kiwi, thank you for the constructive response. -
So I am dead set on creating a Petless Mastermind. The Secondary is to be determined. I am attempting to determine what Non-Pet Mastermind Attack power is the best and worst when combining the factors of animation time and damage. They all feel and seem very similar to me. (Then again I am playing at a low level when everything seems good).
The question and it is a silly one: How would you rate the Petless Mastermind Primary attack powers based off DPS and Animation?
1. Demons (Whip)
2. Necromancers (Dark Blast)
3. Thugs (Pistols)
4. Robots (Pulse Rifle)
5. Ninja (Archery)
6. Mercenaries (Assault Rifle)
That is my last, thoughts? Input?
Thanks! -
Despite unlocking the Visionary badge and completing the Shadow Shard story arc "Alone in the Darque" from the contact Efficiency Agent Pitho, I am still unable to unlock the Rularru's Gaze Bow for my Trick Arrow Mastermind. Does anyone know if there still is a bug pertaining to the Villains and their ability to unlock Rularru weaponry or do I have to complete the Technician Naylor Shadow Shard story arc?
Thanks in advance! -
Happy Mother's Day everyone,
This is such an amazing guide. I will be reading this at work today, thank goodness for Sundays being slow at the office, and after doing so hope to provide some productive feedback and offer some other insights into the set. This probably will not happen though, the part about the feedback.
Trick Arrow and Archery in CoX forever baby! -
Yippe-Kay-Yay! Lum finally made a issue 11 follow up. We can now open up the bottles of Champagne, fire up the karoke machine, set up those Xbox 360s and party like it's 1999!
