I agree with TonyV on this. I see it asked almost weekly.

Thanks for the list.
I don't know about anywhere else, but in New Zealand the time cards went from NZD30.00 for 60days to NZD60.00 for 60days back before CHRISTmas. Admittedly we had it good at NZD15.00 a month (~USD12.00), but now it's just cheaper to pay by credit card, even thou it's in USD and we get a currency charge on the credit card.
Is that how it's supposed to be?
GOD bless,
Shem

EB Games in Australia only stock (as far as I am aware) 30 day cards and they charge $30 for them ... In other words, unless you are so desperate to play, I would get yourself one of those VISA gift card things and use that, it'll be alot cheaper.

They USED to sell Auto Assault time cards for $25 (60 day cards) (guess how many I bought LOL) before they were changed over to the PlayNC cards.

EDIT: And looking at QV Software, they sell 60 day cards for $50 ...

I've seen JB Hi-FI (In Australia) also stock 60-day PlayNC timecards for $50- a far cry from the COV cards of old that cost $30- not really sure what happened there when the new time cards were released, but that's a pretty big markup.

We used to get 3 mos for the price of 2 for $19.99 +taxes at EB games in North EAstern On, but that promo is over Now we buy 15 day cards for $9.99/ea. Hope they stock more of 60 day cards soon, (they're $40.00) same price but way more convenient. Yep, AA cards were cheaper here too! Ah well...

This is a nice resource for all our international siblings. If anyone has found extra info on other places, they should speak up and get it added.

I'm in the US and have a Visa "gift-card-thing". No joy, as Visa won't process the transaction "outside the United States" as they claim.

Any suggestions on that one?

Ummm ... contact NC Soft support ? VISA ? They should work, I've read on the forums a few people use them. I don't know the exact nature of it not working, so one of those two should be able to point you in the right direction.

EDIT: The VISA gift-card-things I was talking about are pre-paid VISA credit cards (or what you wish to call them). Basically, they have a purchase amount on them (eg $30), and can be used like a real credit card upto that amount.

It's become increasingly difficult to find the 30/60 day time cards in Canada. I have two accounts that I pay with time cards. Often times this means that one acct goes inactive for up to 30 days as I hunt for them. The Visa Gift cards would be a welcomed solution to my woes - however they are not readily available in Canada as they are in the US. I would LOVE to see the option of Canadian Debit transactions for us here north of the border.

thats weird cause I live in Seattle and Melbourne Aus and use both a visa from the US and Aus for my accounts??
have had no problems

I would get a hold of the Visa company where you got your card, (western union.. or where ever and ask them), if your in the US and NCSoft is also, then Visa is the one having a problem some where

best of luck

Amazon.co.uk sell 30 and 60 day time cards £7.65 and £17.99 respectively*. Given that a 90 day sub is $41.85, Twenty quid in change, if you can find a way to pay online then do so.

*All prices correct at time of going to press, your online experience may vary

For New Zealand I've noticed that many EB stores don't actually stock these and a lot of the staff give you some puzzled looks and often offer you a WoW card LOL

Although I prefer the subscription method I've found that if you were to get the cards gpstore.co.nz is a great reliale supplier of these - I hear they now shi to australia too
They are great!
Here is your link direct to the cards (can't be bothered making a uber title link lol)

Dear Z__________

I was able to get my time cards at EB Games, Game Spot or even Best Buy. Altho I have now switch to a pre-paid Mosaik MasterCard card from BMO, it works for this game aslong as you have the the funds on the card for the payments.

Hope that helps.

EB in Sydney Australia (and Canberra ACT) do not have the game cards.

However, Toys-r-us do stock the, I paid $40 for one and $20 for another, both 60 day cards

I'm in Australia.
I rang EB Games, to be advised that they do NOT stock the time cards anymore, ie, they have discontinued them.

I also rang QV software, who advised me to ring EB Games...
QV software also suggested some other suppliers (who I contacted & found out also do NOT stock the game time cards), and then suggested I try another supplier (that is a 9 hour return drive away from my town).

Note that every supplier I contacted in my own town happily advised me that they had World of Warcraft time cards

I've already posted this issue in another thread, so I will halt my rant right here.

My previous post that Toys R Us in Parramatta was stocking Game Cards is now obsolete. I must have been the only person buying them.

No retailer in Parramatta (2nd bigest city zone in Sydney) are stocking these cards.

I know what you mean. No one where I live carries them anymore. EB Games, Future Shop, etc = no joy. Three cheers for my prepaid Mastercard.

I was in Best Buy yesterday (B.C., Canada) and they had time cards and the CITY OF VILLAINS box. I didn't know they still put that box out there?

I'm really hoping it'll be reasonably easy to get time cards in New Zealand...looks like I'll be relocating there soon(possibly as early as March '09), and I have NO intention of leaving Paragon City anytime soon....
