I can only assume it would be handled much like how the angel/demon wings are - no need to claim them via a badge and just available right form the get-go. I would go on to assume that you will have an option or category about getting extra character slots, which will indicate how many extra character slot tokens are available to you.

You should have a pretty good idea of when Issue 12 (and optional character slots) will go live by how the beta progresses. We are in closed beta and have more weeks of that to go, then weeks of open beta, then launch. That's as clear of a picture I can give at this juncture.

The cost in the two currently live features is to discourage abuse. And this way, we don't have to remember any funny timing rules.

So....since you're answering all sorts of other questions Lighthouse, what about being able to transfer across accounts under the same master NC account with this? If you don't know, just an 'I don't know' would be nice so we know at least someone's reading the posts and know its a concern
I like the way this is being implemented. Especially the retroactive Veteran Reward angle, since I'd like to see that method used for expanding existing Vet Reward options as time goes on... Sometimes something new comes along that would make a good Vet Reward but it's not quite so spectacular that it should be limited to the people who've already been around for 4 years. It gives me hope that one day I may be able to choose an Iron Blade instead of the Ghost Slaying Axe or Sands of Mu when I build a new character

I am being serious, what if you guys did a One time MAX OUT YOUR SLOTS on a specific server for the price of 99.99$ ?
So you would still have the 1 for 6$, 2 for 10$, 5 for 20$ and then MAX for 100$
I would honestly just max his and my accounts on Virtue as soon as possible.
I would also like to know if you could consider doing a move your characters back to your home server for half price kinda deal?
We moved like 6 and 6 (his and my acct) to Freedom from Virtue because we had no space.. and with the option to now adjust your character line up.. I could have page 1 all villains.. page 2 all heroes.. and page 3 a mix of both.

As you can see, you can already max out a server for $100
Maxing out all servers would cost over $1000 with the current pricing system.
I should hope that if they add larger packages, or maxout packages like you're suggesting, that they have larger discounts than the small packages.

Could we have clarification on the word 'current'. I have friends seriously considering a return for I12. What date (roughly) do they actually need to have an active registration in order to get these two free slots? I would be very interested in the info as a potential recruiting (re-recruiting) tool.
