Here's a market guide... sorta....
More like a market forum guide than anything else, heh.
City Scoop 2007 Market Column Collection
Issue 9 went live on 5/1/2007, introducing Wentworth's and the Black Market to the game. Two days later, the Market section of the forums was created. On 5/18/2007, the first issue of the City Scoop was published. It wasn't until the June 1 edition that the Market Report column debuted. Protea was the original market columnist. Every piece included a summary of prices for the top value salvage at the time, as well as some comments about the market. It all makes for some interesting reading.
The early City Scoop issues were published as a looooong single post, so there is no way to link directly to the market column for most of these issues.
6/1/2007: Protea's first column. No price history in this one.
6/8/2007: Pangean Soil was 4,720,000, blueside.
6/15/2007: Price histories vanish. Protea blames Countess Crey.
6/22/2007: Pangean Soil at 4,740,000 influence, blueside.
6/29/2007: Shortly after a mysterious glitch in the market.
7/6/2007: Pangean Soil hit 5,000,000 influence, blueside, as the markets geared up for the Rikti invasion.
7/13/2007: Just the salvage prices this time.
7/20/2007: Protea took a week off, and Fulmens filled in.
7/27/2007: Protea was back in action, discussing the impact of the Rikti invasion.
8/3/2007: More about the impact of the Rikti invasion. Pangean Soils down to 4,360,000 influence.
8/10/2007: A close look at the "Honeypot" technique.
8/17/2007: Go. Farm. Sell rarez.
8/24/2007: Unresolved look at what breaks a tie in the market.
8/31/2007: Protea's last column.
9/14/2007: Fulmens filled in for Protea this issue. (There was no 9/7 issue.)
The 9/21/2007 issue of the Scoop had no Market Report column. The column did not appear again until 2008.
EDIT: Corrected dates.
EDIT II: All links are broken. I'll see what I can do, but it won't be easy or soon.

Hey Peter, ya got some of your dates in 2008 (I assume, since they're sequential, those should be 2007)
As a result of a little side project and peterpeter's suggestion, I have posted a guide on Recipe Vendoring.
You can find it here.

With 2008 firmly behind us, it's time to put together a list of all the Market Watch columns from the year. There were no Market Watch columns for the first few months of the year. Smurphy and I took turns writing columns during April and May. My column continued to appear every other issue until December.
4/11/2008: My first column, about making the most of the items you get in the Tutorial.
4/18/2008: Smurphy's first column, a six point plan for success on the Black Market.
4/25/2008: My article on cross-server influence transfers.
5/2/2008: Smurphy's article on how to get stuff.
5/9/2008: My article on the Lucky Lowbie Lottery.
5/16/2008: Smurphy's interview with The_Bronx.
5/23/2008: My cost-benefit analysis of Titanium Coating, applicable to most IO's. One of my best.
5/30/2008: Smurphy's "Finding A Bargain" article, about equilibrium prices. His last and probably best column.
7/6/2008: Career Day, Part 1: Vendoring (aka arbitrage).
6/20/2008: My price comparison between three recipes which act differently when exemped.
7/3/2008: Career Day, Part 2: Crafting.
7/18/2008: My article comparing table, market, and vendor buyback prices of common IO recipes.
8/8/2008: A look back at the double xp weekend.
8/22/2008: Career Day, Part 3: Flipping. Buy low, sell high.
9/5/2008: Contest and quiz.
9/19/2008: Contest winner and quiz answers.
10/3/2008: A study of the impact random forces can have on pricing.
10/17/2008: Predictions from the Market forum about I13.
10/31/2008: A study of the order in which bids are resolved if the inf amounts are tied.
11/14/2008: A survey of billionaires.
12/5/2008: Pricing strategies - choosing an asking price for newly introduced recipes.
12/19/2008: A follow-up to the predictions in the 10/17/2008 column.
That was the end of my run as City Scoop columnist, at least for the time being. I don't know if these links will survive the switch to the new forums, but I hope that some folks get some use out of this post until then.
EDIT: All links are broken. I'll see what I can do, but it won't be easy or soon.

I was just re-reading KeepDistance's awesome-sauce write-up on his 30 day
odyssey to L50 and 1B influence and realized he didn't post a linky to it in
the Market Guides section (Tsk, tsk tsk)
So, in all it's glory, here's the link to Project Burn Rate: 0 to 1B in 30 Days

Nine Categories of Market Posts
While far too small to be it's own guide, I thought I'd throw these in this
thread for folks who may have forgotten them. I believe they were
originally from peterpeter (if it was someone else, I apologize).
I've reproduced them here (from a sticky on my cubicle wall) with
some minor edits - Enjoy!
1. Hey guys! Here's an interesting thing. 2. Yes. That is interesting. My thoughts on it are... 3. Would someone like to buy/sell/trade this item? 4. Could someone please help me earn more inf? 5. Here are some ways to earn more inf. 6. You're all a bunch of doo-doo heads who make everything more expensive than God (or Devs) intended. 7. You are an idiot. 8. Merge the Markets - Yes or No? 9. Just as a FYI. TheOcho kindly moved A Market Journal: From 0 to Millions to the Player Guides section. Now I won't have to worry about having it eaten by the forum monster.
Perhaps it's arrogant of me, but I think Tips and Tricks from a newby would be a good fit for this guide to guides.
Looks like about 2 months (almost) since an update to this thread. Not too bad - many guide threads seem to have been forgotten about once they were initially tossed up.
I'd like to throw my 2 guides into the ring, if I may.

2010 Issue 17 totally rewrote the market UI, to mixed reviews. Issue 18 merged the red and blue markets, ending one of the biggest, longest running debates in the market forums. Issue 19 brought us the beginnings of the Incarnate system.
