[/ QUOTE ]Hehe if they were playing AVIs, yea they would, but I believe they are either playing animated GIFs or another type of file, I can't remember exactly, but they are heavily edited down to like maybe a quarter of the actual frames the scenes are comprised of (from the actual CoV video to).

The OP actually explains how it was done, how the individual frames were edited in, and then a movice made of those frames. Grandville is hard on compuraters because it has so much detail in the buildings and environment s all.

[/ QUOTE ]Yea, BaB explained it, that the way GV was built was, I think he alluded to, sloppy. It's definitely on a wishlist for it to be redone, as far as the player base goes, but I think BaB said that they would have to be able to find time to actually rebuild GV from the ground up.
