I think your best bet for a classic hero is Mr. Awesome
Note: His chest symbol design should be the one used in Powerforge's piece.
Name: Mr. Awesome
Powers: Super Strength/Invulnerability/Flight/The Billion Dollar Smile (his smile is so perfect and awesome that the shine blinds his enemies...seriously)
Backstory I swear i'm gonna update that one of these days...

Edit: Oh and his Corny Thumbs Up is known to enrage every enemy within a 100 yard radius...no one really knows why though...

Signature Power- Spear of Light- Crestent flies above a mob and conjures up a spear of light, then throws it and levels the whole area leaving everything purified. If teamates happen to be in the area they are fully healed and have resistance to all damage for 2 minutes. This of course depletes all of Crestents energy making it to where he can't use any spells for 1 minute and only uses it in most desperate times.

She is a young lass, and I mean just recently was allowed to vote and be declared an adult young.
Her powers are Empathy and Psionics and she gets around using Flight.
She is the youngest student of her class and she uses her powers to assist other heroes and the people of Paragon not because she has those powers but because she believes its the right thing to do.

You see I am not from this planet. In fact it would take hundreds of light years to reach my planet with your earth technology. But I do not wish to bore you with that.
I came to this planet for one reason and one reason alone, to defend it with my life. See my people believe that every race has a potential. That is why I was assigned to this planet. Some say its a waste, others say they have much potential. Though for you to better understand my people and me you must learn a little about us.
I come from a planet called Alderiod Prime. All of my people are born with majestic wings that allow us the ability of flight and have amazing regenetive powers. We as a race believe in peace, justice, and freedom for all beings of this universe. The Alderiod Prime Defense Core or APDC is are military that protects other planets from harm. So that those on the planet can flourish and become some thing great.
There is one problem though. The situation on this planet is different. For The fallen are here. The Fallen are a small group of Alderiodions who believe that we should rule over all. Sarix Porter - Fire Aura/SuperStrength/ShadowFlame(neg/fire blasts conceptually with purple flames) Tanker
In the distant future, Sarix Morrison died while protecting her twin sister (Lady Farsight) from the God of the Netherworld. The act of dying to save a heavenly spirit (The Purifier in Lady Farsight), brought her soul to heaven's gates. However the heavenly spirits could not allow even half-demon soul, so they decide it would be best to reincarnate the soul instead. Sarix's soul was place into a newborn baby belonging to the Porter family. The baby grew purple horns, black feathered wings, and purple tattoo appeared across her right cheek and nose. A hospital mistake caused the young girl to be named Sara Porter. Lady Farsight found the girl when she had grown into a teenager many years later, and began training her into becoming a hero. After Lady Farsight explained to Sara about her past she decided to rename herself Sarix Porter in honor of her past.
I'll submit to you Radey Ayte! A dark/rad/flight/dark defender who is the defacto leader of the Teen Squadron, and is also a hero because she's on work-release from Paragon City's Maximum Security Juvenile Facility.

I'd love to have something done for my Defender Ava Adore, she's a kin/psi mutant defender, survivor of the Rikti war and ex-resident of Woodvale/Eden.
You can find her info on Crey Industries, there are plenty of pictures on here in the surveillance reports. I also have one more picture up on her Virtueverse page.
Ava's original costume - She wears a scarf wrapped around her face when working. She has mostly human facial features with the exception of yellow eyes.
She also has a human form, and she's most often seen around her boyfriend, who she runs almost all of her jobs with.

One of my recent favorites is Monster Child. He's a bit different from most of my other characters in that he unleashes the inner demon when he goes into battle by literally turning into the creature.
The boy is Darren Childe and the demon is called Vulgara. I think he might be interesting to draw.

This is Mind 'n Matter's page. He is an Illusion/Radiation Controller with Fly. His signature power is Phantom Army where he summons his ancestors to help him fight. He is also known widely for his vile manipulation of radiation, coursing it through his victim's, mostly thug's, bloodstream and nervous system. You can find Mind 'n Matter's biography in the 'Artist's Comments' under the reference screen. Please note, that his boots include the white 'Sharp' detail that go past his knees, so all the white on his lower body is one piece.

After putting the finishing touches on my Pet Project I'll need your help with my next endeavor.
Taking commissions will require some comic style examples for my price list page. Here's hoping a few good heroes have the courage to step up for free art. If you are willing to assist, I'll need a the hero's name, a few good screenshots (including front & side), powersets (primary/secondary/travel/signature power) and a brief backstory description (optional) . Two or three characters will be chosen, not necessarily in the order of posting. I'll let you know when a decision has been reached.
The categories I'm planning to offer are:
1) Sketch (simple)
2) B&W Lineart (simple/background/multiple figures)
3) Lineart w/Shaded Color (simple/background/multiple figures)
