Sun, ya, i really really really love all the thought (and humor) you put into the Emperis. That is just classic great... and i totally didn't see the EULA, but, damn, that is a good one!
Serengeti, you got the Emperor down, man... great casting choice! As far as the flag goes, i noticed an area that could use a bit of work. You have some great wind blown flapping going on with the lines, but that seems to stop abruptly at the star field. The bottom line of the star field is too strait. It should be fallowing the contours that you've set up with the stripes. Still, great work.
Squirrel, I am really loving the hermit so far. i love that grainy texture you gave it (and the colors are still rocking!). The buildings are coming along quite nicely as well and i love the misty sky. Just make sure you get some details in the background on the left hand side to balance out Skrapt's position.

Well everyone, it seems I've made some small progress with my card "XXI - The World" and I've posted the first update on deviant ART. I'm still trying to decide what to do with the image. I could leave it as is, but I'd feel like I got lazy and took the easy way out. I want to try and do some more work with sketching and coloring, but I'm not sure what I could do. Any ideas?

Loving all the Works in Progress! Squirell, I haven't seen much of your art before -- great stuff! Sun, your DevArt page is amazing and this card has a ton of cool CoX refs. Serengeti, that Statesman pose is powerful as hell. Celt, your speed/ quality blows me away and the card is a perfect mix of the Tarot and City of Heroes. Graver, as always, brilliant work. Based on how your finished pieces look, this one will be yet another great one.
I know I've missed some people, so please forgive me. In the meantime, here is Temperance. And This is the Tarot card it's based on.
Hmm...I still stuck between drawing Sister Psyche as your noble & royal Empress or the Jedi Hand waving Empress.

You could trace the outline of him and the background with black, and make it sort of stylized.
EDIT: I mean on another layer, and delete the normal one, so it looks like a kewl stylized drawing thingamabob. 
Hmm...use it as reference and replace the hero with Cricket?
Persona, I really like that shot and the editing done already. I think Derek's idea of a hard, thick outline has merit, and if you want to do more, that might be a fun thing to play around with.

Persona - I like the image approach ( it's such a great choice for COH) and the way you have set it. I imagine it could be a little more stylized (like maybe a stained glass window), but so far it looks great!
Cyber - As always, your style is very cool. A nice interpretation that blends the two themes well. I think placing her foot in the water is a nice touch.
NPG - Given that we have States as the Emperor, I think Sister Pysche as the Empress is a good choice. I suppose you could use Recluse, but I think a wig would just make him look funny.
Still pondering few ideas for mine...

I took it upon myself to start the Minor Arcana, one of the court cards specifically. In case this project ever goes that far. Either way, the idea of the project and the great stuff so far inspired me to try my own hand at it. inspiration for art can't be bad right?
So, here we go, a screenshot manipulation of Foxlily to be the: Queen of Wands
Here's two summaries of the card that I went by:
The Queen here is surrounded by lions (symbols of Fire) and sunflowers (symbols of the growth and energy of Wands). The black cat at her feet is a reminder of the dark side of Venus. The Wand and sunflower in each hand illustrates her control over nature.
This card focuses on family matters and the home, and possibly spiritual or metaphysical pursuits and personal fulfillment. When in doubt remember that important decisions usually make themselves when the time is right. A sacrifice may have to be made because you will not accept less than the best.
As with all Court cards, it is also possible for a Queen to represent a person. The astrological sign for the Queen of Wands is Leo. This is a woman who is honorable and well-liked and fond of her home. Other adjectives to describe this person might be: fun-loving, proud, honest, aloof, impulsive, determined, loyal and generous. This Queen may represent the vocations of: actor, artist, athlete, fashion figure, entertainer, or any profession where she can be the center of attention.

As a suit, Wands are direct, determined and connected to Will and its appropriate application. The Queen of Wands represents a woman who knows exactly what she wants out of life, and aims at her goals with great dedication.
She is often a woman who has experienced conflict and trauma, and learned from these. She's usually independent, forthright and self-motivated. As a friend she will be loyal and honest, though sometimes given to handing out unwelcome advice, and taking over.
As a parent she can be quite dominant, claiming that she wants her off spring to be self-reliant and confident, but sometimes tending to become impatient, and do things on their behalf in her own way, rather than allowing her children to make up their own minds.
She's a fighter, who does not suffer fools gladly. She will support and assist those who are vulnerable and needy, offering unceasing energy and determination. She takes up causes readily, and proves herself a worthy adversary. However she has a tendency not to know when to stop, and enjoys being at the forefront of the battle, rather than beavering away on the more routine aspects of any campaign.

So - The Queen of Wands - a fine ally, and a dangerous enemy!
So, Fire, Growth, Determination and a strong Warrior Woman. That's what I was aiming for.

Forgive my cartoonish style, I really wish I could do stuff like Celtic Bolt and those folks. Eventually.
If I'd been a smart swordsman, I woulda' thought to use the four suits of the Tarot as the symbols on the wheel BEFORE I started going over everything in pen.

and until we know what symbol's DB is going to use for the suits in the end (so they are all uniform) it'd be fruitless imo to try and come up with any.
Each card has been a delight to view, I love how yours is turning out Lily and Rob's looks great too!

Snow and Rob, looks great, guys! This is my favoritest thread on the art forums.
Mine would be done, but the 102-degree fever I've been battling for days seems to not want to sit and work on art. *shakes fist at the flu* Soon, though.
I had a hard time thinking of something suitable for the Chariot. So I went for a more thematic than litteral representation. Thw Chariot is suppose to represent a passage, travel. So I thought of This hopefully It makes sense.
What do you think?
