Thanks for posting these Kat -- I'm a LAZY interneter sometimes. Feral Kat/ Kitty are quickly becoming the CoH characters I've drawn the most. How do you not enjoy drawing super-hot babes with claws and skin-tight outfits? Almost done with Part One of this set!

Thanks for all the kind words guys -- the main reason I love doing commissions is really nice feedback like this. Warms my heart on cold winter nights I love drawing pin-ups of characters, but my true passion is Sequential Art.

I'm glad you guys are seeing an animation influence. While I haven't done animation (drawing a sequence of pictures that, when put together on film create the illusion of movement) in a while, my day job now is doing storyboards for animation. And Bayani hit it dead on -- it's WAY more fun because you get to pretend you're a director. The storyboard artists come up with the angle and composition of the shots as well as draw out the key poses for the animators to use as a guide. I do my thing, then they do all the hard work!

Friday nights are a blast now -- my kids and I sit and watch the line-up on Cartoon Network. Last Friday was a "Secret Saturdays" show that I did boards on, and next week is the premiere of an episode of "Ben 10 Alien Force" I helped with. I have to admit that I "accidentally" hit Pause on the DVR when my name is onscreen and ask my kids "Whose name is that?" "Daddy's!!". Again, warms the heart

Right now I'm diving in to storyboards for the upcoming "Avengers" series, due out in...2011 Ah well, until then, keep an eye on my DA page where I'll post updates when my lazy internet butt gets around to it!

Hey gang-

Good to be back in for a bit. I've been keeping tabs on this forum and have missed chiming in with you all.

So I'm doing a piece that needs a background from a Crey lab. I'm pressed for time otherwise I'd log on and find the mission on my own and take some screenshots. Does anyone have any good shots from the Crey lab environment? I need something from one of the big rooms -- a hallway won't work in this composition unfortunately.

I want to make this like a mini-contest: the person whom I choose that gets the best screenshot will get a free pencil shetch of their character.

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

HERE'S my latest commssion piece done for Pagan Priest. It's based on a Secret Origins comic cover from way back, only with the main heroes from CoH standing in for the Justice League. It's another crack at digital painting and I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

Dude, I wouldn't change a thing! The whole piece is all about the poses, the "story" and their facial expressions. It's my favorite piece of yours (for obvious reasons I suppose!) Thanks for the great, fantastic art Toxic!

Wow guys -- what a great community! It was great to wake up and read all these birthday wishes. Thanks to each and everyone of you for your nice messages. It's so great to see names I've done drawings for (and those I haven't). After almost 3(!) years of reading and posting on these boards if there's any place I feel at home on this World Wide Web, it's here. And it's all thanks to all of you.

And a HUGE thank you to BuckeyeStar and Thors Assassin (as well as ToxicShia!) for the incredible gift! Gave me a warm fuzzy feeling, I gotta say I always love seeing artists' renditions of Crimson Storm (and just wait until you see the project DarkJedi's talking about ) and this is one of my favorites!
