I have not been on the boards for a while. Not posting anyway. But I just wanted to agree with TA that this community within the community has been very special all along.

Thanks all for being artists and art lovers who share.

I have been playing this game since early beta. I was on the boards for years before that.

I still remember them trying to adjust the spawn rate in Atlas park so that at one point there was a Hellion invasion... I mean they were every where.

I remember the Tram going only to the next station. I remember the level cap being 40.

I remember the Rikti invasion at the end of Beta.

I remember teleporting for the first time...and then learning to use the momentum (you did not lose it between port at the time)

I remember getting hover and "Flying" for the first time


I remember ... I remember


Well I have been around the game (not much of a poster so not really on the boards ) since the begining and I will be there till the end .

And then I will be looking for CoH 2 or whatever it gets to be called. Cause we will need it.

Just wanted to say grats on the wedding.

April 25th is Anzac day.

I memory serve it was also the last day of Beta for CoH. On that day the Rikiti invaded Paragon city. However they would have invaded all over the worls and so in Australia they would have hit on a very significant day. So when my Aussi friends asked me to draw their charcters I decided that this would be the scene:


"Magnate and Nightingale are defending Melbourne from the invading aliens . They are near the Shrine of Rememberance where the ANZAC day ceremonies have been interupted by the invader's attack. Nightingale is healing an innocent by-stander while Manate is shielding her."

I hope they like it.

Magnate an Nightingale

They are their City of Heroes main characters Magnate and Nightingale.

Those of you who have visited Melbourne may recognise the building.

Almost completed just some finishing touches to do on the background.

For some reason the san is a bit more contrasted than the actual painting but still it gives an idea

Update on the same picture.

I redid it but in water color. One of the advantage of scanning the pencils id that you can go back like that.

anyway I am quite happy with the results.

Yep that hand did give me problems and the fact that you are pointing it out just confirms what I thought. I will have to find a good book about hands one day.

Orage is french for tunderstorm she is a storm / electric defender

Actually I was in Australia for a month.... And when I came back I just wasn't drawing for some reason. But now I am back!

I am pretty happy with how it came out sepecially since I did it in 2 hours wich for me is super fast. Now if I decide to color ir it will probably take forever but we will see

After almost 6 months (the race was run on 14/07/2007) Here is the picture for the winners of the Time force 2 . That was an event run by the paragons of justice in wich teams raced to do statesman TF in record time . The winners were a team of 7 Fire/Rad controllers than just wipped through.

I started on the inks. I always hate that part because this is where I a faced with my limitations the most. at the pencil stage I can always kid myself that the inks will make it better. Here is where I learn (every time) That it does not.
