Villians can not share Mayhem Missions.
Prior to I8 if two villians had trhe same MM they could
team for it and both get credit for the mission this is no longer the case and is bad becuase some toons need help on these and it discourages teaming to help them.

This is a Faultline mission bug..

Went to do the mission for Agent G where you have to find the underground base.
But.. it can't be completed. There's no glowie and we explored the thing fully six
times or more. The mission is something like 'Clear Out 1st Ruin'.

[/ QUOTE ] I think I saw in the official "Faultline feedback" thread here, someone mentioned it was possible for that glowie to end up in an isolated room/area that only someone with teleportation travel can reach. I would petition it -- even if they can't help you in-game, maybe they can tell you something by the support e-mail.

Coming out of a safegaurd mini- mish myself and 4 other teammates were stuck UNDER PI and could not do any more of the side quests.
We were able to fly around and blast NPCs til the mission ran out tho.
After the mish was over, it went back to "normal"

Trying to do an Agent G mission in faultline, 'clear 2nd...' Cannot get to the mission, following the nav pointer and checking the map, it show the entrance outside of the zone. I can stand next to the wall and it still shows me 108 yards away from it. I dropped the first mission for the same problem.

I really don't want to give this game up....so much so I am contemplating getting a new PC to play it.

I'm just not sure of the wisdom there. My current rig is not cutting edge, but at present this is the only game I play and it seemed to be doing fine a few weeks ago.

I have still yet to see a dev admit there are any problems causing the craptastic FPS I am getting now. Is it the game or my PC? If it's the game I'l grin and bear it till it's fixed. If not, I'll consider an upgrade but I really don't want to, it plays other game just fine.

Can a dev please say yes or no regarding any frame rate issues they know of?

Current rig that I don't think I really should need to replace to play the game with.

AMD 64 3200+
X800 256MB
6.11 drivers for above
gig RAM
Cable internet (roadrunner)
Defrag, spyware checked, virus scanned within last three days.

I'm at a loss for what I should even tweak.

I play at 1280xwhatever on the top slider so I get a decent readbale UI that doesn't cover the whole screen. What's really intersting, is that I sat in the new monkey bar of the D last night and did an experiment. For whatver reason, while I am on top of the cage by the kiosks and look toward the opposite end I get 13 FPS even if there are no other toons. I dropped the bottom slider down to the 320xwhatever resolution to see if it would help frame rate......game looked awful of course, but I didn't even get any FPS boost.

I'm at a complete loss. I have a fair share of the other eye candy completely turned off.

When my Storm/Elec Defender uses his Steamy Mist power, the tail of his trenchcoat is still visible during initial animation, and sometimes when I'm inside of the Snow Storm power with Steamy Mist active. It's barely noticeable, and might be on my side, but in case it isn't, it has been documented.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm getting the same thing with the Dash sprint power. Trenchcoat I have has long tails and is the split style.

Other issue (just encountered last night):
Tried giving an inspiration to a teammate via Right Click|Give to... Doing so resulted in a message in my chat window saying, "You can not give that item to yourself" or something of a similar nature.

I recieved my 12 month status for veteran awards today and went around trying to get sands of mu/ undead axe for my mains. On two of my characters i click on undead axe and it doesnt award the power. On one i was able to get the axe and on another i was able to get the sands of mu. I stopped trying to get the powers because the award goes away when i click it but im not being awarded the power. I WANT MY AXE. But i dont want to run around wasting the award on my veteran badge menu if it doesnt work.
Also if anyone else has had this problem i would like to know. Its not just me....right?
(for the record i am fully aware of how to get the powers and where they appear in the powers tab)

Looked through this list and found no one mentioned the inspiration dropping bug.

There are a couple of times when in battle on team and trying to drop inspirations on fellow teammates that I get error text saying "cannot give items to yourself ."

This has also happened with enhancements as well.

The workaround would be sending a trade invite but that just doesn't fair well if you're in the middle of fighting

[/ QUOTE ]There is a door underground in the not-so secret Arachnos underground base. There's an entrance on the Faultline side and one on the Overbrook side.

The Overbrook side one is easier to find as there is a big Arachnos base on top of it.

Investigate 1st ruins mission Agent G in faultline no glowie. Oh you can hear it don't get me wrong but finding it well now there's the trick.
4 hours later GM showed up tells me its bugged LOL TY. I figured that out well 4 hours ago when I sent petition saying it was bugged.
My question is how do you get the bug badge for reporting said bugs.

I think you have to log 30 hours of waiting in a mission for a bug report. Only 26 to go!

Just encountered the Frostfire mish bug with the "no ice." Needless to say...

There's also another glitch my buddy online was having where he couldn't find Flux. He said that his minimap said that Flux was at the Atlas gate... With Detective what's-his-name. Anyone else have that problem?

This has been an issue since before I8.

Here is a new one though, I sent in a petition because I thought my Nav marker was pointing at a non-existant door. (one underneath a basketball court in brickstown). I found it before the GM responded. However, when the GM responded it didn't show up in my chat window, it showed up in a tab I created to show my damage stats. I heard the 'tell" beep, looked at chat window saw nothing, and moved on, I never noticed the GM Chat until later, she thought I was AFK, cause I didn't respond.

I checked my active channels for each window, and I see no way for any chat to show up in the window I made, since it only displays my damage delt (unlike Combat tab in regular window). I sent in a petition on it but no responce yet.

Take 2 lvl 10 INV/SS tanks with the exact same build the only exception being one has vet rewards the other does not, throw them in the arena against one another and see who wins.

[/ QUOTE ]

I know for sure that you cannot use veteran powers in the arena. It wont give any advantage there. Havent taken it to PvP, but it might be disabled there to. Even if it weren't disabled in PvP zones, unslottable powers wouldn't much or any affect in a high level PvP zone. There real use seems to be purely in PvE as they do tend to make low level battles more interesting and faster at least.

Of course, I'm not a dev, but I can give you some feedback on what worked for me.

When I upgraded my laptop to 2GB RAM, about 98% of my lag and rubberbanding issues went away. This may be what we call in the debugging arena a "clue."

There are times when the performance is still laggy, and I haven't checked out a nice sized team mish yet, but this is what I can report has worked for me.

I am suspecting that the game has grown, in terms of memory requirements, to the point where minimum system requirements need to be updated - or someone needs to slim down some code. I'm just sayin'.

I am not sure if this is I8 related as I have never done the Ghost Widow Arc before, but I was fighting in the mission from Ghost Widow where you raid Portal Corps and kidnap Dr. Crow.
A level 46 Transcended Quantum spawned level 51(!) photon seekers.
Has anyone else been on the recieving end of this?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but...

I try to run with my inspirations bin full, or close to it, as much as possible. I believe that this is true of many if not all players.

The latest patch seems to have added the 'feature' that when the inspiration bin is full, the "Inspirations" text in your tray turns red, much like when you have an email. The color red is typically used to attract one's attention to a problem or something that requires action (such as when your enhancement tray fills up, and you might wish to delete or sell some). However, having a full bin of inspirations is not a problem; it is the desired situation.

The result, therefore, is that I now have a red warning light on my "dashboard" telling me that... I have a full tank of gas? What? Am I supposed to start deleting inspirations to "make room"?

Please roll this change back. I do not need to (almost) constantly see a bright red word on my tray telling me that ... everything is fine, actually.

[/ QUOTE ]

I always have at least one open. On higher level toons I have 2-3 open and eat (delete awakens), as they come in.

The 'red' inspirations did not bother me. It would not bother me one way or the other.

Crashes, A Lot of them. Geting though an RSF without crashing is near imposible. Grandville and RV at times is really bad.

I wrote down each time I crashed:

In A 3 days time:

01/01/2007

8:16
8:19
8:46
8:52
And then A BUNCH of times more that i didnt care to write down, all in Grandville.

12/31/2006

6:29 RV
12:21am RSF!!
12:53am RSF!!

12/30/2006

10:01 Grandville.
10:01 Grandville.
6:49 Pm
7:01 Pm
8:30 Pm

Everyone I know has the same issues. I dont know about heros tho.

Yes, I very much like the "red flag" issue as I try to use them when I can, but sometimes I forget, and if I am full up on yellows and reds, I can't have those blues come in. So, if I see that red "Inspiration" it tells me that they are fulll, so I can go ahead and use some of the yellows and reds NOW.

The only thing that I DONT like is that the game doesn't differentiate between "new" emails and "old" emails, so like one of my characters I'm saving a email someone sent me as a reference, and so I constantly have a RED email tab and am always told when I log in that "You have one email" and I'm like... DUH yes...

Don't know if this has been reported yet but when you do the portion of the first mission you get as a mutant in COH, the chemical tanks and barrels are invisible but you can still walk on them and such, it's driven me crazy because they are an essential part of the mission and it's impossible to find the right area to click to collect the evidence.

This is fixed on an internal build. One of the next several patches to the Test Server should see it, then it should hit Live soon after that.
